The smile on your face warmed Haewon's heart as she gazed at you adoringly.
One of her hands rested on your cheek while her other gently brushed through your hair.
This is the first day off that she's had in a while and she was so happy to be spending it with you.
"I've missed you."
"I've missed you too." You told her before putting your arms around her neck.
She leaned in to kiss you but her fingers brushed against the ticklish spot on your sides and you couldn't help but laugh.
The sound instantly filled her heart with happiness and she continued to tickle you, wishing to hear your laugh forever.
"Haewon, quit it!"
"It's hard for me to do that when you keep laughing, baby. I love your laugh so much."
"You're torturing me though." You said through laughter. "Haewon!"
She was mesmerized by you; by your smile and your laugh that made every bad day better and always brought the brightest grin to her face.
The two of you have only been dating for a couple of months but she's so crazy about you.
That seems like a huge understatement though as she thinks about it.
As she looked at you now, all she could think was that she loved you and the realization made her heart race.
Before she could even think about whether or not to tell you, she blurted it out without being able to stop herself at all.
"I love you."
Your laughter suddenly stopped and she froze upon seeing the look of surprise on your face.
"You... what?"
She sat down beside you and it was clear that she was so humiliated by blurting it out to you because she couldn't even look at you.
That was the first time that she had said those three little words to you and she was unsure of whether or not she should have.
"Haewon? Baby, did you just say-"
"No." She interrupted before covering her face. "You haven't said it back yet so obviously you don't feel the same and I understand, it's probably too soon!"
You tried to pull her hands away from her face.
"I shouldn't have said it, right?"
"Haewon!"
She stopped rambling as you loudly said her name.
"If you would just be quiet for two seconds then I could tell you what I want to say."
She shook her head and though she was trying not to, she couldn't help but smile.
"Haewon, my love... I love you too."
It took a couple of seconds for her to say or do anything because she was so in awe of your response.
"I wanted to say it to you first but I thought it might be too soon and I was worried I might freak you out."
"You could never." She said before intertwining your fingers together.
Her smile was big and bright as she let it sink in that you said it back to her.
"Tell me again. I already love hearing you say it."
"I love you." You happily said to her once more.
"Can you say it again, my pretty girl?"
She moved to hover over you once again and after kissing the corners of your lips, she stared into your eyes, just waiting to hear the words again.
"I love you, Haewon. I love you so very much, baby."
She was so happy; you could tell by the stars in her pretty eyes.
"I love you even more."
She leaned in and gave you a couple of sweet kisses.
"You're my everything. I love you so very much, Y/N, and I always will. I promise."
And you knew that she meant it, just like she knew that you meant the same thing as you lovingly repeated the words back to her, knowing inside your heart that you'd love her forever.
