Maddison's POV

I walk into the piercing shop.

"Hello Miss. How can I assisted you?" A tall bald man says as I open the door.

"Umm I was hoping to get my nose, cartilage, bellybutton, and second hole pierced." I ask nervous.

"Okay. Sounds like a good plan. So first you're going pick out your earrings, and ect. Then come back to me and we will get started." I nod and walk to a tall case of earrings.

I ended up getting a little stud diamond for my nose. A little elephant on the end of my belly bottom earring. Also a little diamond stud for my cartilage. Then I got a silver earrings for my second hole.

"Thanks." I shyly say, and leave the building.

Two months later:

Nothing has happened in the past two months. I got a job working at a diner. I finished school.  I work all the time. I try to get my ind off of things, and save up some money.

After a good hour of working. I notice a couple sitting down laughing.

"Hi can I take you-" I stop.

"Maddie?" Cam asks.

"Maddie? My name is Gabby." I quickly think.

"Oh sorry you looked like my ex girlfriend." He says look down at the menu.  A sad expression came across his face.

"Oh."

"Well I'm new to town." The girl he was with said.

"Oh cool."

"I'm Amanda." She says sticking out her hand.

I shake it. Oh wow. I stake off the rude comments that ran threw my head, and grabbed there drinks.

"Maddie are you okay?" Another waiter Andrea asks. I slowly shook my head.

"Is that Cam." She asks again. I nod.

"Maddie, please go home." She says with a pleading look. I nod, gathered my things and left.

As I walk away from the diner foot steps got louder behind me.

"Hey Gabby!" I hear a voice say.

I turn and see Cameron.

"Yeah."

"Do you live in Los Angeles?" I nod.

He pulls out a piece of paper.

"Call me sometime."

And just like that he was gone. A million thoughts ran threw my head. Should I keep going on like this, never talk to him, or tell him. I know too much about him to just start over. I miss him like crazy, and my life is hell. I do the same thing everyday. There is nothing new. My moms always at work, and I'm too young to move into a apartment by myself.

When I get home, I throw my bag across the house. I stare at the piece of paper he gave me. All the memories of us ran threw my head. This was it. I'm Gabby now. I don't know about this. I find myself pinning in his number.

2 ring

"Hello?" He answers puzzled.

"Oh mm hi it's ma-gabby." I almost slipped.

"Oh hey. Cool." The line went quite.

"Is now a bad time?" I say breaking the silence.

"Oh no. I'm just thinking, a lot on my mind all of the sudden." My heart drops.

"Oh I'm sorry." I mumble.

"Are you free right now?" He blurs out.

"Oh mm yeah, just text me your address."

"Okay cool, I just need to talk to someone, and you seem trustworthy." Oh only if you knew.

"Okay"

The line goes dead, and I run up stairs, and get dressed. I put on white shorts, and a navy blue v-neck. I slip on my black vans, and run out the door.

When I reach my car my phone rings. Cameron texted me his address.

I get to his house, and pause. I open my car door, and knock on the door. A familiar face comes into sight. Jack.

"Hi you must be Gabby?" He asks. I nod, and I walk in.

My first instinct was to hug him, but I stood there silent.

"Oh follow me." He says waving me to follow.

We reach a room. Jack knocks.

"Cam, Gabbys here."

It's so weird to hear that's my name. For a moment I almost asked Gabby who?

Cam opens the door, he was wearing sweats, and a white t-shirt. God I missed are lazy days. I felt like I needed to fall into his arms, and tell him everything. But I know that is wrong.

"Hey." He says with a side smile. Something was up.

"Hi." I say twiddling my fingers.

"Come in." He says as I walk and he closes the door behind me.

"What's up?" I asks still looking down.

"Well I can't talk to the guys about it, because they wouldn't understand, I need to talk to a girl about a girl." He says gently.

"Oh you can tell me." I lied.

"Well I use to live in San Diego, but then I went on Magcon tour. But back in high school I met this girl.  Maddison Lexiontion. At first it was just a set up for me to hurt her. I was faking to be her boyfriend pretty much." He stops and shakes his head. I stay quite.

"I really fell in love with her. But my ex girlfriend who set it all up, told her. She hated me for weeks. Then her and her best friend Jack starting liking each other." He pauses.

"I was devastated. I thought she was for sure gone. But I guess Jack finally met this girl that he has been talking to online for awhile, and now they are together." He stops and looks if I'm listening.

Every word his said hit me harder, and harder. Jack dropped everything, I lost Cam. I don't know.

"After she found out, she left the hotel for a walk. She got kidnapped by the psych Olivia. Shit happened, and she ended up in the hospital."

I zone out. Shit. The scars on my arms from the accident he might see. I was about to panic.

"We got back together for a little then...."

"When we got to Toronto. I hooked up this girl back in Florida, she meant shit to me. But she texted me. Maddison saw a text about Amanda, she left a note. Then she felt. I haven't seen her for three, or two months."

I swallowed. I rub my arm coving the scars. Cam looks at my arms. I quickly place my arm over it.

"I miss her.  But Amanda is amazing tho." He says day dreaming.

I wanted to slap him hard.

"Are you dating Amanda?" I ask trying to hide my emotions.

"Yeah. I think I love her." He pauses.

I close my eyes, and slowly open them.
