Maddison's POV

"It's okay." Sam whispers.

I grip his shirt, and cry. I don't know why I threw myself at him? Or why he knew where I was? But now that I think of it, Sam was always there. We talked but I always cut him off, but he was everywhere. We are so blinded when you have this picture perfect image in our heads. And don't even realize what everyone else has to offer.

"Let's take you home." He says.

"No I can't go home, and don't want to. I'll have all these questions to answer, and I just can't Sam." I rant.

"Come to my house. But I live with Cameron." He says.

"Are you sure? And honestly I don't care anymore." I sniffle. He nods, and we walk up the street to his car.
//

When we reach Sams house, and we walk up the stairs. The house was silent. The steady breathing, as Sam and I walked up the stair soothed me. He opens the door to his room, and throws a over sized t-shirt at me. I smile, and go to the bathroom to slip it on.

I get back to his room, and he is already laying in bed. I slips under the blanket, and snuggle up next to him. He slowly drifts to sleep.

I stare at the ceiling, and my mind slips away to somewhere else. Maybe moving on is the best thing for me. He probably doesn't even care about me. I was a joke. he played me once before, and he moved on vastly. I'll try to keep him off my mind, but everything just leads back to him. It's not easy leaving someone who gave you so much to stay. It can't be over. I lay here next to Sam, while my mind wonders to Cameron. I'm so fucked up. I can't keep going on like this. But before I could think anymore, I slowly drift to sleep.
//

I slowly open my eyes, and the warms body heat has drifted away.

"Morning sunshine." Sam says as I sit up.

"Morning." I respond back.

I smile, and get up.

"Hungry?" I nod, and he leads me downstairs.

I sit at the island, and he walks to the fridge.

"Pancakes?" I nod again.

He pulls out the ingredients for pancakes and starts to cook. I smile because when we moves his back muscles move with it.

I get up and put flour on my hand.

"Sam."

"Yeah." He turns around and I smash the flour across his face.

"Hey!" He yells.

He scoops up a hand full, and throws it at me. With batter that he just made, I rub it around his face. He throws a little at me. I almost slip, and he catches my fall. Are faces are inches away from each other.

"Hey Sam-" someone says and stops as they walk into the room.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Cameron yells.

"She was hanging out with me, after you kicked her out for your stupid actions." He hisses at him.

"Shut up." Cameron yells back.

I take a hand full of flour, and throw it at Cameron. His face covered in flour, and spits on the floor.

"Karma's a bitch." I hiss.

"Oh yeah." He says.

He walks over the the already mixed batter, and hums it at my face. I swipe it off my face, and throw him a dirty look.

"Karma's a bitch." He mocks me.
//

After cleaning up the mess, and me still starving. We finally just had a bowl of cereal.

"He such a idiot." He says shaking his head. I nod in agreement.

"You don't deserve him." He continued.

"What he did to you wasn't worth your struggle."

"But I just sat there and watched it all happen. I'm sorry." He mumbles.

I was shocked. I didn't know he felt that way. He was upset about not helping. No one has ever felt that way.

"Don't beat yourself up." I say placing my hand on his shoulder.

"At least we can hang out, and talk more." He blushes.

"Yeah." I giggle.
//
Cameron's POV

I listened to them talk. We never had those talks. It got silent. All of the sudden he starts say he could of helped.

"Don't beat your self up." She says and places her hand of his shoulder.

As soon as I was about to go yell at him, someone grabs my shoulder.

"What the fuck!" I yell.

"Cam stop." Josh says.

"Why?"

"Just let her be. She seems happy. Isn't that what you want? I mean why keep her miserable, when she could be smiling." He tells me.

"But I want to be the one to make her smile, or be happy."

"I'm sure you do. I know. I wanted to do the same thing. But then Olivia just took that image away. Just leave her alone is the best way to make her happy."

"No. I can't." I say shout.

"Cameron remember you're the one who told her to leave." He says, and walks away.

He was right. I screamed at her to leave. But it was out of angry, I didn't mean to. But she clearly does seem happy with Sam. But I can't just let her slip away. I need her, I'm not the same.

"Wanna go for a walk?" Sam asks Maddie.

I slam my fist into the wall, and walk up stairs. She was gone. There was no back to normal.
