Chapter Forty-Two

Maddison's POV

I run to the car before Kenny could catch up with me. Cameron is nicely waiting in the car.

"Hey baby, what's the rush?" He says.

I look out the window in any sign for Kenny.

"Please just drive." I say in total guilt.

"Not until you tell me what going on." He pauses, and stares at me.

Sometimes i think when he stares at me he can see everything I can. I quickly look away. I don't know why, it was just a photo shoot.

"Hello?" He says.

"I KISSED THIS KID KENNY BUT IT WAS JUST FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT PLEASE DON'T BE MAD IT MENT NOTHING." I say so quick.

"Kiss?" He says as if it was the only thing I said.

"The director told us to, it was just for the photo."

"Did you feel a spark, butterfly's, was he better than me? Did he slip tongue? Did he chase after you?"

"IT MEANT NOTHING CAMERON!"
I yell at him.

He was in surprise of the tone and the yelling in my voice. He shuts up and drives.

I understand he is my boyfriend but not my dad. It was just a kiss for a photo shoot, I think.

Later that night my phone rings. A unknown number comes across the screen.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Hey it's Kenny. Sorry to bother you, but there is another photo shoot tomorrow are you doing it?" He asks. He sounded nervous.

"Mm let me check."

I get up and walk over to my calendar.

"Mm mm yes I am."

"Okay cool, see you tomorrow then."

The line ends and I slowly put down the phone.

"Why are you in such an awestruck? Who called?" Cameron's calm but strong voice says.

"Kenny." I say slowly.

"Just a kiss huh? He ask you on a date?" He questions.

"Actually he called about work."

"Work as in the kiss." He says walking closer to me.

"No he asked if I was supposed be there tomorrow." I correct him.

"Listen Maddison he is just work, and if I see you with him or talking to him other wise, I swear-"

"You swear what?" I interrupt.

He bit his lip as if it was helping holding back the hurtful thing he wants to say.

"Once a cheater always a cheater." Is all he says.

"That's funny Cameron last time I recall you cheated on me, but thank you other wise." He was walking away when he turned around.

He came storming at me, full speed.

"Don't you speak to me like that. It was in the past, and you should forget about it. You forgave me, and we moved on agreed?" He says spitting mad.

"For all the shit you put me through, sorry isn't enough. You're lucky I'm here. I could of told you fuck off, but nope I'm still.... Dealing with your bullshit." I throw back at him.

"Fuck you Maddison!" He says and stormed out.

He left me in my tracks just like last time. Except this time I'm alone. No one to stop me from anything. I walk to the top left cabinet and pull out a bottle of vodka, and fruit punch. I grabbed a glass. I poured a little bit of fruit punch into the glass then fill the rest with vodka and drink alway.
