Maddison's POV
Saying that was like someone lifted heavy rocks off my shoulders.
Or as if I was drowning in my thoughts, and the words didn't come out because my mouth was filled with water. It's like Sam threw me a life jacket and I came out and spit out the words, and water.
But there was a small part of me that left with him when he walked out the door. Knowing I wasn't going to see him for a very long time. It hurt. He was my everything, my small world that saved me from this big horrible one we live in.
I was in fact in love with him. But there a differences between loving someone, and being in love with someone. I was in love with him, but I fell, and now I just love him.
A wave of emotions came over me, but the one that over powered them all weirdly was happiness.
"Maddie, babe." Sam says placing his hand on my back.
Sending tingles down my spine. I don't say anything, I just look at him.
"You okay? You got quite." He says and starts rubbing little circles around my back.
"Mhmm." I hum.
Sam pulls my close into him, and I felt safe. We stayed there for awhile, until he pulls away.
"Ready to go?" I slowly nod, and he guides me out.
We get to the car and Sam starts to drive. He gently places his hand on my thigh.
"I'm gonna take you home." He says.
I slug down in my seat and nod.
When we reach my house. I look at Sam, and so does he.
I found myself attaching his lips to mine, and climbing on his lap. He sits in shock at my actions. I was too, but just continued.
He trails his fingers down to my hips, and sucks on my neck. I quietly moan as he finds my sweet spot. I slowly move my hips against his, and our lips reconnect. They move in sync as well as I move my hips. A moan escapes from his lips, and I pull away.
"I better get going." I whisper into the crook of his neck.
"Okay." He smiles, and kisses my neck.
I climb back over and open the door. I leave his car, and head to my room. God that felt so good.
