Nathaniel and me ended up having a full on conversation last night through texting, he offered to call me, but I didn't want to disturb Cassie and the movie. We spoke about things from our favourite shows all the way to have we ever killed someone. Around one in the morning, I told him I was going to asleep - although I lied, because I wasn't, I just didn't want to carry the conversation on. We fell asleep around half four, right after morning prayers. I think the funniest thing was, Cassie staring at me whilst I was praying, her half asleep eyes, just staring at my every movement, I have to admit I did feel quite nervous, but I let her look.

We both woke up at half seven, and ate breakfast and got ready for school. Well Cassie did, I left her house twenty minutes before school and went home to get changed. It was 8:57 by the time I got to school. The first bell had just gone.

I hurried into registration. After the usual English, science, history and phycology, class it was finally lunch. Which meant I had to tutor Nathaniel. I sat on the wooden picnic tables in the open playground.

After a few minutes of waiting, I saw him walking towards me, and for some reason I felt this overwhelming feeling rush inside me, maybe we could actually be friends. "Hi." He says whilst smiling with his eyes.

"Okay, what are we focussing on today?" I ask, shuffling through my bag, without waiting for him to reply, I get out my math book turn to yesterdays work.

I pull out my maths text book, "So we'll be focussing on algebra?" I ask, but saying it more of a statement. He agrees.

"Hey!" A girl yells from the bench in front of us. "Nathan, what are you doing with this skank? If you're trying to get some, you won't so don't bother wasting your time." The girl smirks.

Her long blonde locks dangling down, just above her waist, her bright pink lipstick stood out on her pale caked face. Her mini skirt, looking more like an underwear, and her crop top so short, you might as well wear a bra, and the extreme not-sexy lip biting, suggested she was one of the popular whores.

"Me a skank? bit Ironic isn't it." I laugh.

"What?" She furrows her eyebrows, confused of what I had just said, but I don't push that topic further, I could tell she was an illiterate jerk.

"Yeah he won't get some from me, because I'm not as easy as you are." I fake a wide smile for a few seconds, before clearing it away and giving a straight face.

She gasps, "For a Muslim, you're rude bitch." She looks at me, like she is about to slap me.

"As a PERSON I don't take bullying." I twinkle my lashes.

"I'm not wasting my time." Nathaniel replies without an expression on his face.

I look at him, suprised he stuck up for me, smiling lightly I look down.

For the next half an hour, we focus on one question, and it took a good twenty five minutes to make him understand why '5b+5b' equalled '10b'.

"Hey let's get the world's best slushy? Trust me you'll love it." He looks up at me, and smiles.

Gathering the sheets of papers which were scattered around the table, I put them in line with each other and put them in my bag. "Uh, sure." I smile.

He takes me to a road, which I have never seen or been on before, at the end of the straight line I see shops and people with banners and balloons. It doesn't take us long to get there, when we do get there, we are greeted by hundreds of people parading through the streets, and dancing and singing. I was handed a helium balloon in the shape of a flower by a man who was dressed as the joker in a pack of cards.
