Last night was probably the hardest night ever for me, I couldn't sleep. All I kept thinking about was Nathaniel, and how I could have expressed my love for him in a better way. Or what will happen now? We both know we love each other, what now? It was doing my head in. Not to mention, my brother and his friends didn't stop screaming and cheering until late in the morning.
Despite the fact I got zero sleep last night, I was still overly hyperactive, the adrenaline from last night still had an effect on me. I decided to wear a pink lip gloss today, just to emphasise I was feeling rather happy, than wearing a matt colour.
I even walked to school smiling.
Grabbing my science books from locker I greet Cassie who had her back to the locker, with her head down while she was on her phone. "Yo." I say, while closing my locker. She looks up at me for a few seconds.
Before rolling her eyes and turning away, "I figured it out. Why you're smiling so much. It's because of him isn't it, well at least you're smiling more now." Cassie says sheepishly, while grabbing my hand while walking out of the building, into the science building.
I shrug my shoulders, and walk into class feeling a little dazed, Nathaniel was already inside. He watched me walk in, with a slight smile on his face, I however was beaming.
I pull out the chair, and sit down. "Hi." Nathaniel says with a wide smile, with his teeth on show.
"Hey buddy." I say smiling, while looking at my books. That's when I realised, I just called him buddy, I instantly look at his face, the smile had gone and now turned into a slight confused, but –seriously?- expression.
"Sorry, accident..." I mumble, shrugging to shoulders.
I bite my lips awkwardly, I always have to go and embarrass myself don't I? I shake my head lightly, trying to not look embarrassed.
His lips start to pull into a small smile, and he comes closer to me. "Aww you're so cute." He says, while reaching his hand towards me and pulls my cheek.
"Ow." I groan, slapping his arm away frowning at him, but he just laughs which makes me laugh. I couldn't help it, he was so cute, it was too hard for me not to smile.
I turn away from him and read the instructions which were on the board. Mrs Belle didn't even bother telling us what were supposed to do, because apparently we are meant to be independent as we are seniors. "So we just answer these questions for the next two hours?" I say picking up the sheet of paper, furrowing my eye brow.

After the horrible hours of science, we finally had break and a free period. Well, only me and Nathaniel, because Cassie was in drama. I walk out of class looking a little lost, not knowing where to go to, so I just head to my locker and put my books away. I could feel Nathaniel behind me, but I don't look back.
After putting my things inside my locker, I turn around to walk out the building, instead I bump into Nathaniel who had his locker near mine.
"What's the rush?" Nathaniel smirks, looking down at me. His hair perfectly puffed up, and his face glowing with whatever pond water that lies in heaven that he uses to wash his face.
I raise my eye, looking back at him. It was only now that I realised I came just below his chest. "Running from your ugly face." I say sheepishly, barging past him.
That was a total lie.
I hear him kiss him teeth and tut. "Girl, where are you going? I'm coming with." He says putting his hands on either side of my shoulders and pushes me down, before he walks in front of me.
