I don't remember falling asleep, but I do vaguely remember the things we were up to last night. My mind starts to become more alert at the sound of the buzzing noise that was playing. My eyes pop open when I realise what it was - it was my phone. I tare my eyes open and grab my phone from the side of the pillow. My mind is fully alerted when I see my mom is calling. Oh boy.

I turn to my left, and shake Cassie while she was still wrapped up in her blanket. "Cass! Cass wake up, we're late." I say while shrieking slightly.

Cassie and Jacob ended up not working things out, rather things got worse so I told her I'd stay with her which ended up with us watching films all night. And now it's the morning and we couldn't wake up. Cassie's mom and dad where on a business meeting abroad, and her brother was at university, so we had the house to our self.

"Mmmmm." Cassie groans, slapping me away as she grabs her blanket tighter. "Go away."

I jump off the bed and just storm in and out the room for a while, before I realised what I why I got up. "CASSIE. We have just missed first lesson!" I yell.

She jumps up, her blanket flying away from her, her hair all bundled up in to a small bird nest looking type, my hair probably looked the same.

"WHAT?!" She screams, almost as if she doesn't believe me. "Didn't you set the alarm?"

I furrow my eye brows, "No, you were supposed to?" I hiss.

"HUH? NO YOU WAS." She shrieks, while getting up from her bed and running to the toilet.

I run as soon as I see her running, and luckily I make it in before she does and close the door. "GO DOWNSTIARS." I Yell.

She bangs on the door. "THIS IS MY HOUSE!" She grunts, before stomping downstairs.

-

"Hi."

At this point, I was so familiar with Nathaniel's voice, I knew it was him. It was weird, because only a few weeks ago I didn't always know it was him, but now I had gotten used to all the different sounds of his voice and different tone.

Me and Cassie both turn around. "Hey." I say. Cassie smiles at him.

"I missed you in Maths." He frowns. "Maybe we can have a tutoring session later?" He asks pursing his lips, holding his books tightly between his finger. I don't know if Nathaniel did it on purpose, the sly remarks which made me feel tingly or some sort of warmth, did he miss me or, or did he mean he didn't see me?

I nod my head, "Sure, see you soon." I give a small smile, trying to ignore the stupid thoughts.

Just as I was about to turn away, "Hey, walk with me?" Nathaniel asks, beaming at me, and those feelings where back again. It was 9:57AM which meant second period was about to start, there were students walking in and out of different blocks, and doors.

I grin back, but then I remember Cassie near me, we both look at her. "OH yeah leave me why don't you?" Cassie grunts. I didn't know why, but Cassie never seems to want to come with me and Nathaniel when we walk off, she always claims she doesn't want to disturb us, but I just think she can't control her feelings when around him.

I laugh, "What? Why can't you walk with us?" I say giving Cassie the 'please-come' eyes. I couldn't stand being alone with him.

"No it's fine, I'm going to go and erm, just walk behind Jacob." She rolled her eyes and stormed off. I start laughing, because I know exactly what she means.

Me and Nathaniel started walking towards the building. "So why were you not in first period?"

"I blame Cassie. She didn't set the alarm." I laugh shaking my head.
