The past month me and Nathaniel have been hanging out more and more, as well as tutoring him. Ever since we went to his favorite place, I don't think we ever left. It was finally friday afternoon, the friday everyone has been waiting for, the time I had been dreading. School went the same as any other day - boring, with a hint of fun to it, hint being 0.000001% of fun.

"So I'll pick you up? Or do you want to get ready at mine?" Cassie runs up to me, and locks her arm around mine.

"What?" I reply, whilst putting my books into my locker.

"You know what! The big party, Listen after I messed up big time with outing all the boys and Lacey and Nina, I'm surprised I even got invited." She shrugs, frowning slightly, followed by a wide smile expression.

"True, that was really unexpected. Why did he invite me?" I laugh with a baffled expression.

She wriggle her eyebrows. "Apparently Matty has a crush on you, he's in our year and he is hot." She emphasises on the word hot.

I laugh awkwardly. "Right, and where did you hear that from? Anyways who's Matty?" I laugh some more.

"The walls have ears my child, and excuse me, did you just say who's Matty?" She says, almost looking offended. "Only the most stunning guy, who can sing, he's smart he's cool, he is everything. He's also the lead singer of a Flow - the band." She squeals.

"You find everyone hot, and what band is that?" I raise my eye brow confused.

"I find the hot people hot." She says with a straight face. "And it's quite famous, in the band room." She looks at me with a small smile. I look back with a -okay-are-you-serious- look.

"They'll be big one day!" She rolls her eyes. "Quick, look." She points to a locker.

"He's standing with Nathaniel. Isn't he beautiful?" Cassie says sounding hopelessly in love.

They were both talking and laughing with each other, and as soon as our eyes fell on them, they didn't wait ten seconds to look at us, we instantly looked away.

"Oh my god hey Aasia! I haven't seen you in so long!" Cassie says in an exaggerated excited voice. "Laugh." She whispers.

I follow her orders, I laugh as though she just said the world's funniest joke.

"Why are we doing this?" I say back, with a wide smile on my face, but a confused look in my eyes.

"Because." Cassie laughs, nudging me playfully. "They're looking, and I saw Nathaniel nod his head towards you." She says through her gritted smile and laughs, as if I said the world's funniest joke.

I furrow my brows. "Okay, tell my again why we are laughing and smiling like this? Because my jaws are killing." I giggle, with the same expression on my face.

"Well maybe, Aasia, if you smiled more often it wouldn't hurt when you had to fake a smile this wide." She coos with her face, whilst smiling still. Did she realises Nathaniel and Matty did not care if we saw them?

I carry on smiling at her, but with the -i-am-ready-to-kill-you-look.

"Ok-okay, can you stop, you're cheeks look like they are going tear apart!" Cassie softly slaps my cheeks. "They're gone now!" She rolls her eyes.

We both walk out the building, it was almost four pm, and I didn't know how to break it to her that I wouldn't be coming to the party. Last time I told her, I couldn't because in my religion I can't have a high school type of party, and she told me I can stand outside and dance alone.
