"You are a disgusting vile person; you know that Aasia?"
"Mmhmm." I reply.
Cassie tares her eyes away from the bucket of KFC chicken and wings. She shakes her head in disbelief. "I can't believe you didn't stop your brother from buying this." She moves her gaze back to the bucket.
It was my brother's turn to invite his friends round for a chill day, which meant there would be a group of students, doing disgusting student like things, which including eating every piece of unhealthy food there is, and just living like pigs. Me and Cassie were meant to be heading out today, but with it raining and everything, I suggested we go to her house, she insisted we stay in a house full of college boys.
But my brother, being my brother. He wouldn't allow us to come downstairs unless it was an emergency, apparently he didn't want his friends hitting on his little sisters. I repeat sisters. I have never seen Cassie look so annoyed. Of course she didn't want to be his little sister, but something more.
"I can't even like Adam anymore, how can he eat chicken like this!" Cassie exclaims, while looking inside the bucket once more.
"That's good, because you're dating Jacob." I say, tapping my fingers on the table.
I always forget that Cassie is a vegetarian, because I wasn't much of meat eater myself, so whenever we went out to eat, we would never get anything meaty.
Cassie was about to says something else, but Adam walked in and she smiled instead. "Hey Adam." She says in her innocent voice, that just makes me laugh.
"Yo." He replies, grabbing the mini fridge and walks over to the living room. I follow after him.
"Adam, what if we run out of food?" I ask worryingly. The thought of being told not come downstairs, only made me want to come down even more, although I never really come downstairs.
He places the fridge near the coffee table, that was surrounded by snacks and pizza boxes. The floor was scattered with films, and games. "Cassie, bring the KFC bucket please." Adam slightly yells from the living room.
Cassie instantly brings it in, forgetting that fact she wanted nothing to do with that bucket a few minutes ago. "Thank you." Adam says smiling.
Cassie just smiles back, biting her lips. I nudge her, giggling at her for being such a freak.
"Asi, if you do finish everything that I left for yous, I will be extremely worried." Adam says slowly. He was right, we would be crazy to finish everything.
I look at him with a straight face, he just laughs so I grab Cassie and make our ways upstairs. It had only just hit 5:30PM. His friends were going to be here any minute.
I just couldn't stop fidgeting with my phone, I wanted Nathaniel to message me, but I also knew he wouldn't. It was me who was supposes to message him, not him. But I however, was too stubborn to go first. It was Sunday, and I haven't heard or seen him since Friday in school.
"Ok for the love of god, please tell me why you look like a moody old cow. And drop your damn phone for a second please!" Cassie says with an aggravated tone. I roll my eyes, groaning I chuck the phone onto my bed.
"It's Nate. We haven't spoken since Friday." I say gnawing on my lips.
She itches her hair, and jumps onto my bed on her back. "So text him?" She says furrowing her eyebrows.
I bite my lips, almost laughing. I didn't know how to tell her, without it sounding ridiculous. "Well, we kind of had an argument on Friday, he basically said I'm in love with Tobias, and not him." I say shrugging my shoulders.
