Forbidden Love

Chapter 24

The bell had gone, which meant it was second period. Despite the fact Nathaniel was being flirty in the slyest way, I still was having fun. I wasn't the only one by the looks of it, Tobias and Cassie were probably the loudest in the class, and the rest of class were all wild and laughing. It was just me and Nathaniel who were quiet, doing our own thing.

Our own thing.

Me ignoring his flirtatious language, and him trying extremely hard for me to react when really nothing he could do would make me physically react, mentally - that was a whole other story.

"Class, stop what you are doing for a second please." Mr B yells, he waits for a few seconds before he gets all of our attention.

"Now that you have started on your information, you can leave that aside and create your booklets. Be creative, change your chosen stories and make it your own, same story line though. You have an hour until it is due." Mr B says, writing down points on the board.

"Aasia, you can choose the colour of the booklet and I can draw, and you can write the story." Nathaniel says smiling at me.

I look at him, Nathaniel cooperating? This was a first. "You know what, you draw and write and whatever, I'll just fetch the resources." I say winking, and get up my seat to get it.

Me and a few others walk over to the front, and try grabbing the best colour card papers and colour pens. Tobias was behind me, I grabbed a bunch so I could give it to him. Thankfully, I managed to grab half the papers, not caring that the others won't have the good colours I give half to Tobias.

"Aw! Thanks babe." Tobias says smiling cheery. I smile back at him. "Hey can I tell you something?" He asks.

"Yeah sure." I reply, while we both walk away from the crowd.

"You and Nathaniel, it's obvious you guys have a thing. The sexual tension between you guys, is frustrating me." Tobias says in a serious voice, just before he bursts into laughter. I stare at him, without saying another word I walk away back to my table, showing Tobias a middle finger.

He laughs in return, Cassie seems to join him, I ignore both of them when I realise Nathaniel was smirking but in a sheepish way, he must have noticed what they were doing.

I roll my eyes and chuck the papers on the table, in other words telling him to get on with it. While I go ahead over to Cassie and drag her away from Tobias also, so we can chill. My fingers and heart where buzzing, to the point I felt exhausted and breathless making me wanting to just rest.

How crazy is that? Your heart beat beating so fast, like you're running? Insane, how he made me feel like that.

It had been almost forty minutes that me and Cassie where in the corner just talking, from the looks of it, most of the class where doing the same thing. Other than one person in the partners who were doing work.

"Okay class, time to present your work. Amy and Jack, Tobias and Cassie, Nathan and Aasia for today, and the rest next lesson." Mr B says, pointing at Amy and Jack to come up. Us six sigh, but the rest of the class cheer and laugh at us. For God sake, I hated presenting work.

Although I have never really spoken to Jack and Amy, I could tell what they were like. Amy wore her skirt so high, I'm sure the vice principle had sent many letters home already, and in contrast to that Jack, had his pants so low I was sure he would trip, but then his baggy oversized olden time styled top pretty much covered everything.

Amy and Jack's booklet was on Romeo and Juliet like ours, I think our whole class was doing it. Their booklet was bright yellow, with red spluttered everywhere which was probably blood. With Romeo and Juliet's name written on top of it.
