The Warmest Hugs

"NO DADDY!" Odette screamed as Niall threw every toy that littered the ground into a black plastic garbage bag.

"Yes. Little girls that don't behave get in trouble," Niall said carelessly throwing the toys away.

"MAMA PLEASE!" Odette hollered, catching your attention.

You dropped your eyeliner and ran into the living room thinking Odette was stuck in the toy box again. Yes, again... Seven times.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" You asked scooping her up in your arms.

"DADDY MEAN!" Odette screeched at the top of her lungs.

Niall stopped what he was doing and dropped the garbage bag. A crazy look was apparent in his eye. He looked like he was seething, livid even.

"Babe, what's going on?" You asked calmly.

"I'm so tired of looking at her disgusting mess and stepping on barbie dolls and legos. I'm throwing away every toy she owns," he said through clenched teeth, picking up Odette's favorite teddy bear.

"NO NOT MR. TICKLES!"

"Niall babe, please calm down."

"CALM DOWN? CALM DOWN? HOW CAN I CALM DOWN WHEN ALL I F*CKING SEE IS A F*CKING MESS ON THE F*CKING FLOOR?"

"That is no way to talk in front of our five year old!" You snapped.

"And why not?" Niall retorted.

"You don't want her to repeat what she's heard, do you?" You asked calming down again.

"I DON'T CARE!" He snapped.

"Please daddy... I miss you," Odette cooed in a small voice.

Suddenly, Niall dropped the garbage bag and turned around slowly. His head was dropped and was obviously ashamed.

"I know you upset daddy but I miss funny daddy," Odette played with her fingers.

I watched the scene play out in front of me. As Odette launched herself at Niall, engulfing him into a warm tight hug. He smiled lightly and hugged her back.

"You give the warmest hugs, Odette," Niall whispered.

"I know daddy."

It was true. Odette's hugs were always warm. Everyone always jokes that her hugs could unfreeze a frozen person and she always giggled. Niall put every toy back and even bought her ice cream making it impossible for Odette not to forgive him.

I know short one but I'm super duper tired (even though it's only 7 pm) and I kind of wanted this one short. *Miranda Sings Voice* Plus my phone hasn't been WORKING at all!

I want you guys to expect a lot less from me. For four reasons. Hehe... Four... See what I did there? No?... Ok.

1. I haven't been sleeping and honestly it's become a problem it really has. I'm just honestly scared so please comment if you have any suggestions for me. I don't know what to do...

2. I am started school pretty soon. As are some of you so that's gonna be something. But I am gonna work my hardest and get things done.

3. As I stated in my boring A/N I am coming out with a new short story and my best friend POTATO-CARROTS is helping me out.

4. POTATO-CARROTS and I have made a collab account and we will be doing collabs on there. I'm really excited for this and yayy.
