Niall POV
I sniffled into the toilet bowl quietly. I was absolutely miserable and there was no way I was going to make Tania stay home from work and take care of me. Pushing myself away from the toilet, I flushed it. I shuffled like a zombie to the sink, turning the faucet to cold. I splashed a but of cold water on my pale face.
I looked up into the mirror, shuddering. I looked like an actual dead person, no joke. My face had pretty much no color left in it except for a bit of green. My hair was an absolute mess, splayed all over my sweaty forehead. Not to mention my dull grey eyes. They had no life to them unlike my usual, bright blue ones.
"Niall? Love, is everything okay in there? You've been in there for a while," Tania knocked on the door. I could almost envision the look of worry on her face.
"Y-yeah... I was just killing a bug for you," I quickly thought of an excuse quickly. I opened the door, to be met with Tania. She was all dressed and ready to leave for work. She looked great, as always.
"I just wanted to say goodbye before j left," she wrapped her arms around me tightly. "You feel warm. Are you feeling okay, angel?" She played with my sweaty hair as I lay on her shoulder. God, I wish she didn't have to leave.
"Yeh, it was just a bit hot in that bathroom," I responded weakly. She pulled away, leaving me standing there, trying not to fall over on the floor. My stomach was doing gymnastics, sending everything inside of it, tumbling around inside.
"I love you, angel!" Tania called as she left our shared bedroom. I mumbled a reply back, even though I was almost positive she couldn't hear me through the pillows. I turned over, wrapping my arm tightly around my cramping stomach. I let the tears run down my face, not even bothering to be quiet with my sobs.
I'd heard the door slam so I knew I was fine. I gagged suddenly as my stomach lurched harshly. I threw myself from the king size bed and made it to the bathroom just in time. I retched as I sank in front of the toilet. My head pounded viciously. Why did I have to go sick? Just this one hapless day.
I trudged from the bathroom after brushing my teeth and rinsing my mouth. My whole body ached furiously. I wished that I would have just told Tania about this, so I could get a little bit of TLC for the rest of the day. My hand shakily wavered over my phone as I contemplated calling her. She probably wasn't even to work yet. Which would make it easier on her.
I decided against calling her. I was fine! I'm a grown man who can take care of himself. I kicked the covers to the edge of the bed and sighed. My stomach ached badly. I closed my eyes, trying to clear my pounding head. Finally, I fell asleep.
I woke up to my stomach turning. My phone was buzzing loudly beside my head. I'd left it plugged in this morning considering I didn't really take the time to use it at all yet. My room was dark, most of the curtains closed but one open. No light was blasting through it to make my head pound even worse. Which meant that I'd slept until at least sundown. Crap! Shouldn't Tania be home by now? Maybe she was and she found me and knows now!
I picked my phone. I pushed the on button and cringed at the blinding white light that hit my already sore eyes. I closed my burning eyes, trying not to throw up again. Once I finally got adjusted to the unusually painful light, I checked out why my phone was buzzing.
From Tania:
Hey angel! My boss asked for me to do some overtime.
From Tania:
Everything okay?
From Tania:
I'll be home soon baby boy.
From Tania:
Niall! Why aren't you answering me?
From Tania:
Niall. James. Horan. You're scaring me.
I typed out a message telling her that I was only taking and that I couldn't wait to see her. Neither were a lie by any means. I could not wait to bury my face in her shoulder. I couldn't wait to take in the sweet smell of the perfume that wafted nicely off her body. Even when I had the stomach flu, it didn't make me sick.
My stomach jumped, kicking me out of my thoughts and pushing me to the bathroom. I gagged, bringing nothing but spit up. I coughed as I tried to breath between dry heaves.
"Niall! I'm home!" I heard Tania call. I didn't have time to get out of the bathroom and look natural before she came bursting into the bedroom. "Ni- Angel... are you sick?" She kneeled down next to me, scratching her nails over my back.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you!" I looked up at her sadly. My head was hurting badly.
"Angel! You don't have to be sorry. You're so warm..." She grabbed a washcloth from the drawer under the sink and wet it with some of the tap water. She wrung it out and placed it on my forehead, dabbing at it lightly.
"Do you need medicine for your stomach?" She helped me back into bed. I wished that I would have tons her sooner. I feel better just knowing that she knows.
"It hurts..." I whimpered, writhing in utter pain as my stomach cramped painfully. "Cuddles?" I asked. Tania sighed but gave me a small smile.
"You're impossible to resist," she smiled slightly as she climbed into our bed. I knew I was, too. Because, I'm just too dang adorable. She raked her hands through my hair whist rubbing my stomach.
"I love you..." I mumbled into her shoulder, kissing it ever so slightly.
"I love you too, angel."

I saw your request... which I never wrote.
So, if there's anything I can do to make it up to you, please tell me. Because I feel horrible.
