Silence is a beautiful thing.
Jay gently pecked his boyfriend's freckled nose and smiled. Carlos giggled lightly, his heart fluttering wildly. They lie in their empty dorm room as the morning sun crept through the midnight blue and yellow plaid curtains.
Foreheads presses against one another, the tips of the pair's noses touched ever so slightly. Carlos twirled a strand of Jay's soft, chocolate hair in his fingers as his eyes remained completely lost in the boy's. He felt Jay place his muscular arm around his body and tug him closer.
The gaze was like no other. It was flirtatious and romantic, yet friendly and playful. The warmth that flooded over Carlos' body from Jay's stare melted his heart. His starry brown eyes seemed to swallow Carlos with every passing moment.
Jay lightly massaged the back of Carlos' neck. With every breath he took, Carlo's heart propelled faster and faster. Lifting his hand to softly caress Jay's tanned cheek, Carlos retracted quickly in fright. Jay's face screwed up tensely, breaking the gaze. He sneezed almost violently as he held his palm up to his nose. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Carlos jumped like a scared puppy, falling face first onto the polished wooden panelled floor. For a moment he lied there soaking up his cocktail of surprise and embarrassment.
From above he heard Jay call groggily, "Dude? Where did you go?"
The boy raised his arm into the air and poked his head up over the thick blankets, "Down here," he croaked.
Jay laughed. He laughed so hard that he was in hysterics. Carlos soon found himself laughing uncontrollably at the situation as he crawled back ono the double bed like a child.
"I love you," he spoke though chuckles.
Wrapping his arms around Carlos' small body, Jay pulled him to his tightly to his warm chest and responded, "I love you too."
