Chapter 5

*Next day*

Aj's POV

There was a knock at the door "Hello?" I said while opening the door seeing who it was. Carol and Davi "Hi Aj! Neymar home? It's his time with Davi." She said carrying him in his arms, "Yea he's just in the shower now so". "Ok well is it ok if you look after him till he comes out?" "Yea that's fine!" I said to her smiling. "Ok Davi daddy will be out in a minute. "Your gonna stay with Aj for a bit. You'll see mama soon ok bye!" "Bye bye!" Davi said waving, "Do you wanna play a game while we wait?" I asked Davi bending down to his size. "Hide and seek!" he said jumping, "Ok but it's just me and you, Rafa and Jo are out ok?" he nodded and ran off, I don't know what Rafa and Jo are doing, but they've been very secretive recently. "97, 98, 99, 100! Ready or not here I come!" I shouted into the house slowly walking checking each corner for Davi. I heard giggling upstairs, I followed the sound that led to Rafa's bedroom, when  I entered I saw 2 little feet below the curtain. As I got closer I said "I wonder where Davi could be? I searched everywhere!" more giggles came, "AHAH!" I said moving the curtain, Davi screamed and ran "I'm gonna getcha!" I shouted following him, he ran away laughing. "Get back here!" I said catching up to him, I picked him up and spun him around while he laughed "What's going on?"  Neymar said with his hair still wet from the shower. "Oh well it's your time with Davi so I played hide and seek with him till you came out of the shower." I told him "Hi daddy!" Davi said to him with a big voice "Hi Davi! You ready to watch daddy play?" Neymar said getting closer to Davi's face, "Yea!" he shouted. We laughed at Davi's excitement and I handed him over to Ney.

Neymar's POV

Aj was always good with kids, she was really handy when Davi was first born, I don't really know where she picked up the information about kids because she didn't have siblings. I guess it was a stronger instinct of hers.

"Is this jersey ok for Davi?" Aj asked me showing me Davi "Yep" I responded. "Ready to go?" I asked "Yep let's go" she said walking past me.
In the car Aj sat in the back with Davi playing with his dinosaurs, I look at the mirror adjusting it to look at them, I smile at the sight and continue to drive.

Aj's POV

"Say good luck to daddy" "Good luck daddy!" Davi shouted while Neymar smiled and waved, walking to the entrance for the players. "Shall we go find our seats?" "Ok!", we had front row seats this time because Neymar wanted to bring back Davi to the locker room after the game. When we got to the seat I asked Davi "Do you wanna send daddy a message before the game?" "Ok!" "Ok go ahead" I said holding up my phone to film him "Win for me daddy! I wanna see you run past everyone and score! Go daddy go!" I laughed and posted it on Instagram with a caption of "Play strong @neymarjr !!!". I would have FaceTimed it to him but he was probably on the phone with his dad getting his pre-game preach since he was in brazil with Junior's mum.

The game ended 3-2 for Barcelona, 2x Messi and 1x Neymar, Neymar came over to where we were sitting and took Davi, "Yay daddy!" Davi said throwing his hands in the air. "Good job! You played great!" I told him and he smiled at me, Neymar carried Davi onto the field to wave at the fans, I took a picture where you could see the back of their jerseys and tweeted "Like father like son" and put my phone away as I saw them go into the locker rooms.

"You were so fast daddy and when you kicked the ball it was so fast! Like a rocket!" Davi said while playing with his toys in the back seat of the car. "Yea well I did it for you!" Ney said looking in the mirror to us, "It was a very good goal" I said smiling as he smiled back.

Neymar's POV

Should I tell her now while she's happy? No Davi's here, he knows that Carol and I aren't together, but surely it would be awkward. Maybe I should tell Davi myself so I could make him understand.
I decided to tell him when I got the time alone with him.

We got home and Jota and Rafaella was already home, "You played great! We watched the game on the tv" Rafa congratulated me "Yea good goal!" Jo patted my back. "Thanks! But did you see Pique's kick from the other field to me!? I was great!" I complemented the team, I always do because I never like getting all the credit. "Hey Davi!" Rafa gave him a hug and picked him up, "I think it's bath time for him" Aj said while fixing Davi's hair. "Here I'll go with him, clean up a bit from the game" and I took Davi into my arms "Yay bath time with daddy!" and I laughed.

"I got something to tell you Davi but you can't tell anyone! No matter what ok?" "Ok!" I continued to wash his hair. "You like Aj right?" "Yea! She's fun!" he said with a big smile "Well I like her too, but I don't think I like her the same way as you" "You like her less than me?" "No I like her more Davi, a lot more.." "Ohhhh, you want her to be your giiirlfriend!". I laughed "Yes I do, but don't tell her ok?" "Why not?" "Because I want to tell her" "Ok!" there was a bit of silence while I scrubbed his back "So you wanna kiiiss her" "Yes I want to kiss her." I said laughing.
