Chapter 14

*The next day*

Aj's POV

Today was the day one of my closest friend Grace visits, I had to go pick her up at the airport at 1:00 (currently 11:00) Neymar couldn't come because he had training so I took a cab.
I entered the airport at 12:30, the traffic was horrible, but it wasn't a long wait to see my curly haired friend walk through the doors. We ran to each other and jumped into a hug "You look great!" she said "You too!" I said back to her "Lets go and talk at my place" I said taking one of her bags as she agreed.

We sat on the sofa watching tv, she was tired from the trip so she didn't want to do much. "So how it going with Neymar?" she smirked at me, I face palmed. "Did you hear through Ig?" I asked her "No the news!" "The news!?" "Yea it's the latest gossip!" "Oh my god" "But seriously you guys probably are the greatest couple!" she said with enthusiasm. "Thanks but it's only been a week actually" "So!?" she shouted "You were best friends before, I count that as starting at halfway!" I rolled my eyes since everyone keeps saying that. "But really give me the details! Have you guys done the dirty?" she asked lowering her voice. "No, I didn't think I was ready yet" "Ready!? What do you need? A letter!?" I laughed at her, how into it she was. It was nice to talk about this stuff because Rafa was his sister so that would be uncomfortable. We talked for a long time, before we knew it everyone got home and greeted Grace. "In conclusion: your ready for any shit ok!" she whispered to me before talking to Rafa. "Just a reminder Davi's coming tomorrow until the game" (which was on Saturday) "Ok, uh Grace and I were gonna go throw a ball around or something tomorrow" "Ok I'll bring Davi to the park on the way" "Ok" I said back. We all had a good time at dinner, stories spewing, jokes made, it was a great time. Before we knew it, it was 12:00 and we all decided to go to bed. "You wanna come to my room again?" Neymar said in my ear, "Ok I'll be there just let me get my stuff ok" I kissed him on the cheek with Grace following me up the stairs, "You can sleep in my room if you want" "Ok.. where are you going to sleep?" Grace said with a smirk, she probably heard me and Ney "Neymar's...". Grace let out a small shriek and I laughed, I grabbed some clothes for tomorrow and went to Neymar's room. I smiled at him entering the room, "Since you already live with me, do you want to just share a bedroom? I have room in my closet and stuff" Neymar suggested. "Yea ok!" I said, I don't have any decorations in my room so it wasn't a big deal for who's room to move to, plus his room was bigger. "Is it ok if I bring my photo board thing though?" it was just a board you could stick pins in and I used it for a few photos. "Yea sure!" he said "I'll start bringing stuff over tomorrow" I said while changing "Yea maybe we should hire someone to move all the stuff because your so far away" Ney joked "Sounds good haha!" I replied. We got snuggled under the bedsheets and got in a comfortable position for bed "Goodnight kiss?" he asked me and I did so and smiled "Goodnight" I said "Goodnight".

*The next day*

Neymar's POV

Davi was already here and Aj had put a few clothes in the closet, "Ready to go?" Grace said to me and Davi, "Yeah!" Davi shouted and Grace laughed. I liked Grace, she was a good friend of Aj's, we aren't very close but we were friends. Grace and Aj had they're gloves and brought a bat, Davi kept talking to Grace, she had a lot of experience with kids. I took Aj's hand on the walk to the park, "You look pretty hot" I told her because she did "Really!? In sweats and a T?" she laughed "Hey! It's true!" I told her "Well thank you" and she pecked my lips "You don't look too bad yourself" she said and kissed me again. "I'm with Davi haha!" Grace shouted, I looked over and saw Davi covering his eyes and we laughed "Sorry Davi" Aj said "It's ok, kissing's just gross" and we laughed. "So are you like my second mommy now?" Davi asked Aj making things a bit awkward, she didn't know what to say, "Not yet Davi" I said picking him up "Oh ok!" he said. Grace was just laughing the whole time.

While I played with Davi on the playscape I would look over to Grace and Aj throwing the ball as hard as they could to each other, Aj was better than Grace and they both new, but Aj had an amazingly fast throw. She was good, she was really good at softball, knew the sport like the alphabet. "Can we go watch them play daddy?" "Ok" we walked over to where they were, "Hey Davi wanna throw to us?" "Ok!" he ran over to them. "You can only throw though, we don't have another glove that will fit you" "Ok" I stood a bit distant watching them, Davi putting so much effort for a ball to go a few meters. After a bit Davi ran back to me, "We were thinking of hitting now, do you mind going to the outfield?" Aj asked me. "Ok" "You can use my glove while I bat" she said handing me her glove. Grace pitched to her as Aj watched the ball go by being to high to swing at "C'mon!" she shouted "Sorry! You know I'm not a pitcher!" Grace threw again but this time more accurate, Aj swung and hit the ball hard far into the outfield. The whole time it was practically me just going out for the balls in the outfield, "Your turn" Grace said holding out the bat to me with a big smile. "What!?" "Yea your up" she handed me the bat and jobbed to the outfield, "Fuck" I said to myself knowing I'm going to make a fool of my self. Every ball I hit was a pop fly or a short slow grounder, but I also missed a lot. I felt a bit embarrassed, "Not bad for a football player!" Aj said to me, "Yea I guess so" I said laughing, she smiled and kissed me on the cheek, Davi didn't cover his eyes this time because he didn't see. "I love you" I whispered to her and she smiled to the ground then looked back at me "I love you too", she took my hand and walked back home.
