Third person POV

It was a fine day, the sun had never been brighter for the past month. Inside the Hogwarts castle, it was buzzing with excitement. Every single student was chatting excitedly. It was October 1, the day the other schools participating the Triwizard Tournament arrives.

Albus, Scorpius, Suzanne, Rose and Molly went down to breakfast earlier han usual. They expected to find the Great Hall calm and quiet. Instead, the Great Hall was filled with chatters and laughters. Most of the students had already arrived.

Right after breakfast, Professor Flitwick stood up and announced, "Students of Hogwarts! I expect you to be on your best behavior when the other schools arrive. Now, please, everyone, remain in your seats, and welcome the students from Beauxbatons Academy!"

Filch opened the doors and the Beauxbatons students strided in.

Suzanne's POV

I had never felt more excited! Well, except the time I found out I was magical, but this is different. Totally different.

The Beauxbatons students
came in. The girls walked in elegantly in their blue dresses which I suspect is their uniform. The boys followed in a very gentlemen way and they wore suits with a blue tie. They stopped in front of the podium, the girls curtseyed and the boys bowed. A huge lady followed them.

I asked Molly immediately, "Who's that huge lady?"

"That's Madame Maxime. She's the Headmistress of Beauxbatons. It was rumored she was invovled in a romantic relationship with Hagrid," Molly said.

"Seriously?"

"Yeah!"

Then it was Durmstrang. The boys marched in like soldiers, a man followed them. Cheers erupted everywhere suddenly. I was overwhelmed.

"What's going on?" I yelled over the noise.

"That's Viktor Krum!" Scorpius screamed, "The best Quidditch player ever!"

"And he's now the Headmaster of Durmstrang!" Rose yelled.

It was only when all the Durmstrang students stepped to the side the cheers died down.

The girls from Glaemnonia walked in next, their heels making tapping noises as they walked. They gave curtseys and stepped to the side.

Last it was Sikrorth. The boys stepped in first, the girls were right behind them.

Professor Flitwick then enlarged all the tables and added one more table. He then ordered all the Hogwarts students to move to the new table. It was dark purple in colour, with the Hogwarts crest in the middle. The Beauxbaton table was sea blue, the Durmstrangs had a dark red table. Glaemnonia's was lilac and Sikrorth's was green, white and red.

"Why those three colours?" Rose asked.

Being a muggle born, I knew the answer from my primary school's Geography lessons, "It's the colours on the flag of Italy."

"Flag?" they asked simultaenously.

"Yeah, a national flag. Each country has one, there's also a national anthem," I said.

"What's a national anthem?" Molly asked.

"It's a song that represents your country," I said.

"Oh," was their only reply.

Professor Flitwick then said, "Welcome! Students from Beauxbaton, Durmstrang, Glaemnonia and Sikrorth! Welcome to Hogwarts! Now I would like to invite Mrs Hermione Weasleys to provide us with more details of the Triwizard Tournament!"

Most people clapped and cheered as aunt Hermione made her way on the podium. But the pureblood gang remained silent. I glared at them.

"Thank you. As some of you might recall, the Goblet of Fire would be the one choosing the champions. We would like to give all of you some time to consider your decision to enter or not, so we would put the Goblet in the Entrance Hall on the 13 October. You have 24 hours to submit yourselves in. The Goblet would provide the names of the 5 teams it thinks the most worthy for entering the competition on 20 October. Other more details would be provided afterwards," aunt Hermione said and walked away from the podium.

"Now Hogwarts students! Time for your lessons! The others, we would be giving you a tour around the castle."

We left the Great Hall reluctantly, and headed towards our respective classes. For us, second year Gryffindors, it's Charms with Ravenclaws.

Al suddenly asked a question while we were still in the corridor, "Have you noticed James was staring at the blond Glaemnonia girl, at the front?"

"Seriously?" Rose asked.

"Yep," Scorpius smirked, "I bet he didn't even listen to half of what aunt Hermione and Professor Flitwick said."

The five of us burst out laughing.

The charms lesson was great. Professor Flitwick simply taught us a spell and asked us to practice it. He let us off without homework.

The rest of the day was pretty good, most teachers let us off without homework, giving us a break.

We went straight to the common room after dinner. The common room was fulled with cheers and a few screams and it was sooo noisy. The large table was transfigured into a stage and Catriona Golden, the twin sister of the Head Girl was standing there. She had decided to join the Tournament with Catrina, and the Gryffindors were cheering for her, and celebrating.

That night, all us Gryffindors had a party in the common room, until Professor Longbottom told us it was too late. We cheered for Catriona, and wished her good luck.

The next morning, news of the older students wanting to join the Tournament was flying everywhere. So far, there was Catriona and Catrina, of course, Phineas Crabbe and Federicus Chambers plus Casper and Cheyenne Whitney from Slytherin, and some others from Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.

There were also some news from the other schools. The girl James was staring was called Adeline Castillo, she was one of the student representitive of Glaemnonia, she would be joining with her older sister, another representitive, Eva.

James grew all worried when he heard that Adeline was joining. Seems that they had a little chat in the corridor.

I just can't wait for 20 October, when we will know the names of the champions.
