James' POV

"Did you know? The Glaemnonia girls have a twin link! Can you even believe it?"

"I know! And I heard the younger one is dating James Potter!"

"I wonder if he knows."

"She is so lucky! How did she manage to get him?"

I'm so glad I had put my hood up as I walked towards breakfast. Ever since the interview came out, gossips like these were EVERYWHERE. Even Al badgered me a bit.

The interview itself was a big success, as all ten champions were there. I had persuaded Dominique to get Catriona to do the interview, while Adeline had Eva persuade Alexander, thus a chain effect appeared. The Daily Prophet had never sold that many copies in the past one decade or two. The Head of the Prophet was so pleased with mum that she got a promotion. All of us were happy for her, well except for a few, I guess.

I never knew how the news that Adeline and I got out at first, since I wasn't at the interview, though I knew what was it about even before the interview came out. The Weasleys won't spread it, I'm sure. Nor will Al, Scorpius, or Annabelle. I guessed someone must have spotted us in Hogsmeade.

Three days after the interview came out, I got my answer. It was the damn snakes again. They were disappointed that all the credits went to mum, and so they decided to spread it as revenge.

"They're so immature," Al complained when I told them. It was Saturday, and we sat in our usual corner in the common room.

"Making a big deal over nothing," Annabelle added.

"They're always like this," Scorpius huffed.

"I saw mum just now," Rose said, joining us quickly as she entered the common room, "I think something's up. She's rushing down the hall, looking frantic."

"What's up?" I asked.

"I don't know. She didn't see me. I just saw her heading quickly towards the Entrance Hall," Rose said.

Just then, an owl flew in and landed an envelope next to us. The owl left quickly.

"Should we open it?" Al asked.

"You open it Scorpius, or Annabelle, both of your names are on the envelope afterall," Rose said.

Scorpius took the envelope and opened it carefully.

To Scorpius and Annabelle,

Your presence is requested at the Hogwarts Entrance Hall immediately.

The plan has been altered and it would take effect now.

I would fill you in when you get here.

Roldophus

Scorpius' face turned as white as sheet, "WHAT?!"

Al widened his eyes, "No way."

"Well, I am NOT going," Annabelle said, head high.

Scorpius looked at me, then at Al, Rose, Molly and Suzzy, last at Annabelle.

"Look there's an owl," Rose said, pointing.

"It's dad private owl, he rarely uses it," Scorpius said.

The owl landed in front of Scorpius, a letter attached to it. Scorpius snatched the letter and the owl flew away.

Scorpius and Annabelle,

Under whatever circumstances, stay in your common room. I will try to reach you soon.

"Is that his?" Al asked.

"Yep, that's his signature here," Scorpius said, pointing to the bottom of the parchment.

It was then a third owl flew in.

"Ugh, enough owls for the day," Scorpius groaned.

Surprisingly, it was from Leo.

Scorpius and Annabelle,

I suppose you received both a note from Rodolphus and your father, Scorpius. I am telling you to listen to your father. Stay in your common room. The others have done the same. I would be sending you the revised version of our plan. Your father has suggested not dragging you all as you are still underaged and inexperienced, no match for those filthy mudbloods or blood-traitors who are of age yet. We have accepted this suggestion. However, you still have a job to do. Continue doing it, though from now on, you shall send weekly reports and you will send two copies, one to me, another to Rodolphus.

I will see you soon.

Leo

"What?!" Annabelle exclaimed, "Weekly reports?!"

"Nice save, dad," Scorpius muttered.

"This is getting more and more complicated," Al moaned, "Are we having a Third Wizarding War?"

"I sure as hell hope not," I grunted.

The door of the common room opened and in came Professor Longbottom.

"Students, I would like you to remain in the common room for the rest of the day. I will come and escort you to dinner. An announcement would be made then," he said and left.
