Scorpius' POV

I put on the dressrobes my mother lay out for me. I sighed. Why did they pair Violet Goyle up with me? Out of all those pureblood girls, I detest her the most. Another damn night with her.

I wish Al was here, or James, or Rose, Molly, Suzanne... anyone, who could get me out of my foul mood.

The door opened and Violet came in. "Scorpy, are you ready yet? Come on, the wedding ball is going to start," she said as she took my arm.

I sighed.

"What's up? Come on, Scorpy, stop sighing and smile," she said, touching my face.

"Fine," I rolled my eyes, "Let's go." I tugged her and we left the dressing room.

We joined the gang and waited for out turn to walk down the isle, as we were all bridesmaid and groomsmen, with Phineas and Casper as best men along with Cheyenne and Isabelle as maid of honours. Lupus Goyle, who is seven, and Medusa Nott, who is six, were the flower boy and girl. They will walk down the isle first, followed by Orion and Anastasia, me and Violet, Alex and Annabelle, Barthelomew and Gabrielle, then Casper and Isabelle, right behind them are Phineas and Cheyenne. The soon-to-be-married couple, Leo and Gemini, would be last in line.

Rodolphus was already in the centre, waiting for the couple. They exchanged vows and and the wedding was completed.

Speaking of Rodolphus, I really hate him for being in charge of everything, especially for him deciding the arrange marriage pairs. I really hate that, out of everyone, he had to pair Violet with me.

Violet pulled me onto the dance floor and I had no choice but to dance. I can't exactly say no and get off the dance floor, besides, the whole gang is already dancing. I have no choice.

I can tell Annabelle wasn't having a good time either, Alex kept on touching her in intimate ways, and she was extremely uncomfortable. Her long dress was no help either, occasionally she would trip over her dress.

We danced for an hour and I pulled Violet off the dance floor and have dinner.

Draco's POV

I sighed as Scorpius dragged his partner away from the dance floor. He never seems happy around her. But I saw him, with the Potters and those Weasleys, he was happy with them.

"Worried about Scorpius?" Astoria asked as we swayed to the music.

"Maybe," I shrugged.

Scorpius Malfoy, in Gryffindor House. It had bothered me for a while. A Malfoy in Gryffindor? It's unheard of. But I promised to give him the best childhood I could. If he's happy there, I won't object. He has true friends there, someone who would laugh with him, and someone who he could trust with his secrets. Moreover, I've dropped all the prejudices, only keeping up the act around this gang to avoid suspicion. They still believed I am truly one of them, after all, the Malfoy family have long been supporters of the Dark Lord. But I'm not, and I do not want to anymore. Nor does Astoria, Blaise or Endeavor. We especially want to keep our children out of this.

"Mate, we need to talk, I'll come around your house tomorrow for dinner at 7pm," Blaise whispered in my ear and immediately left.

I sighed, What is it now?

"It's about THE plan," Astoria said.

I widened my eyes.

"Endeavor's pregnant, and our children must be kept out of this. If this means going behind their backs, then be it," Astoria said fiercely, but keeping her voice low all the same.

I nodded. No way am I going to let Scorpius' or Anastasia's childhood wrecked. I shivered, I just hope they don't force them to do any tasks just as I was, or forced to take the Dark Mark.

"Draco, we need to talk, it's about Scorpius," Rodolphus' cold voice sounded behind me.

"Rodolphus, what is it?" I asked.

"Scorpius must switch to Slytherin!" he growled.

I smirked, Ha, no way, Scorpius is staying there as long as he is fine. Luckily, I knew Rodolphus would raise the topic and I thought of an excuse already.

"I was thinking of letting him stay there," I started.

Rodolphus opened his mouth to speak but I beat him to it, "You see, those blood traitors and filthy halfbloods, the Potters and the Weasleys, trust him, we could use him as a spy."

Rodolphus looked thoughful, "Hmm, it would be nice, he could even feed them false information. Good idea, Draco. Get him over here, we need a little chat. Get Annabelle as well. It will be good to have her as well."

Astoria went to fetch them. She was never a good liar, if she stayed here and Rodolphus asked her anything, it will all go wrong, that's why I did all the talking.

"Who came up with the idea? And when did you come up with it?" Rodolphus asked. He was testing me, and I knew it.

"I did, soon after we came up with the plan. Astoria wanted him to switch to Slytherin, but I decided to keep him there and spy for us."

I talked with Scorpius already, and Blaise did the same with Annabelle before we came here. They know it's fake to have them spy at the Potters and Weasleys, it's just a plan to keep them in Gryffindor.

Astoria came with Endeavor, Scorpius and Annabelle. "Uncle Rodolphus," Scorpius and Annabelle greeted.

"Scorpius, Annabelle, I now give you an important task. You must make sure that they do not know what we are planning, if they suspect something, you will lead them to the wrong trail. I gather that those blood traitors and filthy halfbloods trust you already?" Rodolphus said.

"Yes, uncle," both answered.

"Get information from them and feed them false information, got it? You will report them to me through letters monthly. Send them directly to me, alright? You do it nicely, you'll be rewarded. If not, you'll be punished severely."

"Yes, uncle," Annabelle said.

"We'll do our best, uncle," Scorpius answered, nodding sincerely.

"Do not tell anyone, not even your partners."

They nodded.

I almost laughed at Rodolphus. They sure put up a good act, Rodolphus didn't suspect a thing.

At least they are safe. For now.

Scorpius' POV

I inwardly grinned as Rodolphus dismissed us. As if I would spy on my friends! But I knew I had to keep a straight face or others would suspect something. When I get back to school, hopefully, if dad and mum agrees, I will tell Al about the whole plan, then uncle Harry could do something as Head of the Auror Office.

I can't wait to see them fail and be free of Violet Goyle.
