XXXIV.TWENTY-FOUR

     The next couple of days were...strange, well strange is an understatement. Honey-senpai was under the impression that he was the only one suffering with a toothache, in reality—he was our toothache.

    Honey walks through the halls with his face wrapped up with a bandage. There was nothing but sadness behind his eyes. You would've thought someone died the way he carried himself.

    His usually bright aura was practically gone and it killed everyone internally.

    The whispers were loud echoing off of the gloomy hallway.

     "My... Poor Honey-kun..."

    "I heard the Host Club is banning snacks right now."

     "It must be a shock for him. But while this may sound indiscreet, his appearance right now is just so..."

     I watched from my classroom, Mori conveniently standing outside it. He held a hand out to honey as he gradually approached the taller.

    "Hmm?" Honey groggily looked up. Nobody noticed the way his grip on his bag tightened.

     "Mitsukuni."

     "Tadashi."

     He pointed to the bag, "Your briefcase."

     "I can hold it by myself." Honey waved him off and quickly attempted to go around him.

     Mori mirrored his sidestep. You could cut the tension in the air with a knife.

    If I were honey I would've shat myself.

    "No, show it to me."

    "Ah..."

     Finally caught, Mori opens Honey's briefcase and dumps a bunch of candy onto the ground. There had to be at least fifteen pounds worth of sugar there.

      There was a long pause.

    "I was only going to look at them." Honey's voice wavered, never daring to go above a whisper. "I wasn't going to eat them."

    "I see. If you're just going to look, then have this." Mori holds out a paper.

    I left my desk to get a closer look at what it was. It looked as if it was a menu or sales paper of different types of pastries and candy.

    "Ah..." was all honey could muster up.

    "I'll take the real things." In cartoonish fashion, Mori swooped up all of the candy and somehow contorted it back into the little brief case. He spun right on his heel and attempted to quickly speedwalk away.

    Honey, on the other hand, quickly latched onto him. Pulling and tugging on his arm. Screaming at the top of his lungs.

   Not even the teachers wanted to step into this mess.

   It wasn't even comical anymore, it was just depressing.

   I spotted the Twins and Haruhi who also stepped out of their classrooms to look at the tragic duo.

    "Tsk..." They shook their heads. "This must be so tough."

    Haruhi pouted, "Poor him..."

    I walked up to them and leaned on Haruhi's back.

    "It's discouraging..." I agreed.

     "You know how much he loved his sweets. Its like...engraved in him."

    "You know how humans are like approximately 60% water? I'm not going to lie, I think the rest is made up of sugar-OW!"

     I rubbed my shoulder after Haruhi pinched me. It's not the most outlandish thing ive said but damn girl.

    "Lol, thats fucked up, but I never thought Mori-senpai would be that strict." Kaoru snickered. "Very unexpected. I thought it was his principle not to do anything problematic for Honey-senpai."

     Hikaru faced his palms to the sky as he shrugged, "Even our lord had to listen to him."

    We watched the two disappear into the neverending pink walls. We all turned back to our respective classrooms before I stopped in the middle of my track.

   Did Hikaru just curse?!?

   What the fuck is up with everyone in this universe?

Hey! Sorry for such the delay in updates, I'm a full time student in college and I've got a part time job so my free time is literally out the FUCKING WINDOW... it's okay it's finals week now sooooooooo
