SEXX! Okay, now I have your attention, the reason I haven't updated in a while is because, my phone which I write on broke and when i wrote this chapter, I went to publish it and it suddenly deleted itself, UGH! Okay, on with da chapter :)
Jess POV:
I quickly squeeze up behind Meagan, trying my best to make the guys go in quicker. I give up and shove through, earning a concerned look from both Meagan and Patrick.
I run down a small hall and into the dressing room that is empty for the time being. I try to ignore the face that I just saw that now seems to be swimming around my mind even when I'm trying my best to get it out and ignore it. To try and take my mind off the thoughts I look around the room and assess it to its fine details.
The dressing room was a dark red colour, a 2 seated leather sofa sat at the back of the room with brown cushions placed neatly in the corner either side, 2 mirrors were placed side by side, hanging neatly on the wall was a picture of an empty stage, which I'm guessing was the one that the guys would be playing on later.
I crashed down onto the sofa and closed my eyes tightly, blocking out everything that was going on around me. I grabbed my Ipod and pressed the shuffle button, putting my earbuds in, New Perspective by Panic! At the disco came on and I stare into the darkness of the sofa.
I get shaken awake or from whatever I was doing by shouting, it takes me a while to process what's going on.
'You are on in 5 minutes!' Shouts Marcus to Fall Out Boy, I hear shuffling around and Patrick crashes through the door, fedoraless. I push myself up and catch sight of him looking stressed.
'Hey, you okay?' I ask, breathing out a tiny laugh.
'I'm looking for my fedora.' He says, ruffling his hair slightly. 'Have you seen it?'
'No, I don't t-,' I start, I spot a small black hat, squashed into the chair.
'Oh, it's there.' He smiles, leaning over me to grab it, our lips brush past each other and we catch each others eyes, staying there for a second before we both look away in embarrassment.
'Sorry.' We both mutter, I feel my face flush a bright red colour and I look down quickly at my shoes.
'One minute!' Shouts Marcus. 'Back stage in 30 seconds!'
'Erm, bye.' Says Patrick, shuffling out the room and disappearing. I push myself up and check myself in the mirror, making sure I don't have any panic visible on my face.
I waddle out towards backstage, Andy is stood topless as usual and the others are stood with their guitars around their shoulders. I stand next to Meagan and stare onto the stage as Tyler and Josh finish Car Radio and come off stage, looking all sweaty. Josh flashes me a cheesy grin and I smile back. Fall Out Boy take the stage and start The Phoenix with the lights still down, when Patrick starts singing, the lights flash on, bouncing off jumping and singing fans.
I feel a panic attack brewing inside of me, I make a hasty retreat from backstage and out the backdoor to where we came in earlier. It's already dark out and slightly breezy. The wind hits the side of my face, sending a shiver down my spine, I take in a breath, trying to calm my staggering breath.
'Fancy seeing you out here.' Says a voice from behind me, his voice makes me sick and I really don't want to turn around but if I want my life then there isn't any other option other than turning round. I twist around and come face to face with the person I really don't want to see face to face.
'W-w-what do you want Jack.' I say, loosing my cool almost instantly.
'I've came back to make sure you don't snitch to the cops.' He grins.
'Please, I won't-I wasn't going to.' I stutter, picking at the skin on my fingers.
'I see you got my text messages.' He laughs, ignoring my sheer terror and fright.
'W-what.' I say.
'Don't play the innocent, you aren't innocent and you and I know it.' He says, referring to the night of the party, I shiver but not from the cold. 'Next time read the message but don't click on it.'
'Please don't-don't hurt me.' I mumble under gasps of panic.
'I can't promise anything.' He says, leaning forwards and trying to grab me, i swerve him and fall backwards, conveniently falling backwards into the door that falls open and I fall backward inside the halls, I jump up, slamming the door in Jacks face and making sure the door is fully locked.
I'm safe this time.
I'm lucky this time.
Maybe I won't next time.
