Jess POV;

We'd been back home for about a week and all was kind of okay. I'd gotten the questions and multiple lectures about leaving the UK early and not finishing the tour from my parents, I hadn't thought up any excuses but luckily Joe was there to back me up.

I was going over to see Patrick today, I hadn't seen him since the day after we got back home because he'd said he needed alone time and to also explain everything to Elisa's parents about what happened. I was worried he'd told them everything but Joe had explained what Patrick had said to them, he'd missed out about me and who Jack was and her about to shoot me at first. All he'd said was that someone had taken her when she went outside one night during a concert and a guy held her at gunpoint in a roof. The police tried to save her and so did we but he was too armed with weapons. They believed him luckily.

I made my way downstairs, rejecting the food my mum had to offer by saying I'd eat at Patrick's, which of course I didn't plan to.

I made my way out the house, stopping when my phone began to ring.

I frowned as an unknown number flashed across the screen, I answered it hesitantly.

"Hello?" I answered, waiting for a reply.

"Who's this?" A voice replied back, it was a women.

"Who's this?" I asked, not willing to give my own name away first.

"Andre Foursit." The women answered, the name didn't ring a bell at all.

"Sorry, I don't know you, why are you calling?" I asked, shaking a bit from nervousness.

"Oh, wrong number. My apologies." Andre laughed. I sighed, hanging up the phone and carrying on my short walk to Patrick's house.

The walk there took about 15 minutes and Joe was surprised that I was actually up to walking by myself. Truth is, I wasn't. I wanted everyone to deem me better, even though I knew I wasn't. I was far from it.

I knocked on Patrick's door, taking a step back as I saw his shadow come towards the door.

"Hey Jess." He smiled. "How are you?"

"I'm great." I forced a smile onto my face and stepped into his porch.

"Do you want food or drink?" He asked, I shook my head.

"No thanks, I ate at home." I lied.

"Oh okay." He looked me up and down skeptically. I shook his stare off and awkwardly sat on his sofa.

Patrick plonked himself down next to me, an awkward feeling lingering in the air.

"I'm sorry." We both said in sync. I looked up from my lap and caught Patrick's eyes, a sad glint sparkling in them.

"What're you sorry for?" He whispered, I shrugged.

"Everything." I whispered back just enough for him to hear. Patrick leaned forward and grasped my hands in his.

"Jess, there's nothing you should be sorry about," Patrick starts. "You haven't done anything wrong I can assure you."

I just nodded, looking down at my lap again. The feeling of his warm hands holding my hands gave me a feeling of electricity spark through my whole body.

"I'm serious Jess, I lo- everyone loves you and knows you haven't done anything wrong." I freeze right there and then, it feels like time just literally stopped. Was he about to sa- no, he wasn't. What am I thinking?

"Sorry." Was all I could say, my brain just stopped working and I couldn't move at all.

"What for this time?" Frowned Patrick.

"For saying I was sorry." I answered.

"Come here." He smiled sympathetically, opening his arms out, calling me in for a hug. I sighed and hugged him, his strong arms wrapped around my small body.

"Do you wanna watch a film?" Asked Patrick as we both pulled away from the hug.

"Yeah sure." I agreed, straightening myself up a bit.

---

I yawned, rubbing my eyes.

"You're awake finally, the film finished an hour ago." Patrick laughed.

I opened my eyes properly, realising I was sleeping on Patrick's chest.

"Oh." I laughed, pushing myself up and looking at Patrick.

"Joe rang, he was worried about you even though it's still daylight out and you've been gone 2 and a half hours," Patrick laughed. "I told Joe you were staying over."

I nodded. "Okay."

"Food?" He asked, getting up and heading into the kitchen.

"No I'm okay." I smiled, following him into the kitchen.

"No, you haven't eaten. What food?" He asked again, I sighed.

"Just a small sandwich with Jam on, thanks." I forced a smile onto my face, I wasn't in the mood of eating today.

I took a seat on the stool that I pulled out from under the breakfast bar, resting my arms on the bar.

"Here you go." Smiled Patrick, placing the sandwich in front of me and just standing staring at me.

"What?" I awkwardly questioned him, shifting in my seat.

"Wha- Oh nothing." He laughed, turning back to the kitchen and picking his sandwich up.

He took a seat next to me and we both sat in silence for about 10 minutes, before Patrick spoke up with something that I didn't think he'd ever say.

"You're very pretty." He said randomly, I felt my face flush up. I had nothing to say, I'd always imagined that happening but like, even though we kisses on the UK tour, I didn't deem it as anything because he was with Elisa and, well not me. I still don't deem it as anything now Elisa is dead, I never thought I'd be the sort of person Patrick would say that to.

"Thanks?" I smiled politely, looking down at my arms resting on the black marble breakfast bar.

I heard footsteps as Patrick padded on the hard tiles around to me. I felt a soft hand push my head up to look him right in the eyes.

"Jess, you are really pretty." And before I could protest, Patrick leaned in and kissed me. His soft lips caused the feeling of electricity through my body. I didn't know what to do or how to react yet I felt myself kiss him back. Did he really mean this?
