It had been three years since Jesscareya brought Alerie into this world. Three years of cold silence from Rhaenyra and Daemon. Three years of wondering if they would come storming into the Red Keep and reign down dragonfire.

In that time, Jessica's belly swelled again and she birthed Aemond a son, a boy they named Agnarr. Agnarr was nearly identical to Aemond, his sharp features prominent. And now her belly was swollen with child for a third time.

Her daughter, Alerie had much rounder and softer features, resembling Jesscareya, yes, but there were prominent markings that were indicative of Alerie's own father.

The young dragon, Shrykos, had bonded with Agnarr just days after the boy's birth. Shrykos had been anxious after the death of young Jaehaerys, and took to the babe swiftly. The egg that Aegon brought to Alerie upon her birth, hatched into this tiny pink dragon that was to be called Morning.

It was around the hour of the owl when Jessica stirred from her slumber. This babe had woken her around this time each night. Jessica stretch and reached over for Aemond only to find him not abed. She rose and threw on a robe and headed off to find him.

The commotion of the few servants awake pull Jessica in that direction, hoping to find her husband.

And she found him alright. She found him pulling Maester Orwyle from his bed and dragging him down to the courtyard below.

"Kneel." Aemond said simply, sword already drawn. And carefully, he lowered it to the back of Orwyle's neck. "I can make this clean or -"

Orwyle interjected. "Might I at least know the accusation, my prince?"

"Where is he?" Aemond sneered.

"Who?" Orwyle asked.

"My brother, the king."

"In his quarters!" Orwyle exasperated.

Aemond's voice dropped eerily quiet. "You are a traitor to the crown, I sentence you to die."

Orwyle squeezed his eye shut. "No."

Aemond raised his sword to swing, when Jasper Ironrod raced in. He gasped out. "My Prince! It appears that Lord Larys has fled the Keep as well."

Aemond still had his sword in hand. It was at that time Jessica rounded the corner and made her presence known. "My Love."

Aemond immediately sheathed his sword. "You should be abed. It's nearly the hour of the wolf."

Jessica placed her hand on her belly. "Do you want your son to come into this world as safely as Alerie and Agnarr did?"

Aemond huffed. "You know I want nothing more than for our children to come swiftly, without fuss."

Jessica inclined her head towards Orwyle. "Then I need him living, and breathing and functioning so that he can best implement his craft."

Aemond placed his hands over her. "My Love -"

"This discussion is over Aemond." Jessica gave him a peck on his lips and turned, heading inside.

Jessica was just about to settle into bed, when her handmaid, Jeyne, came into the room. "Your Grace, she's back. She's went again."

Jessica sighed and rose. Alicent had went back to Dragonstone and tried to plead with Rhaenyra once again. "Did he take notice?"

"He notices when you sit in your solar for too long."

Jessica sighed. "The green dress and the hair net, Jeyne, I don't want to fuss with it more than I have too."

Jeyne helped her dress, and Jessica maid her way down, finding Aemond seated on the Iron Throne.
