Chapter Nine

Mia is sitting in her bed when Harry walks in. It's been a month since shes seen him, its gotten colder, but hes still the same. He slowly opens the door as she squeezes her eyes shut.

"Mia." He says in a soft calming voice.

She opens her eyes to see her sunshine standing right in front of her, her heart skips a beat.

"I'm so sorry." Harry carcasses her cheek.

She pulls away at the slight feeling of his hand.

At this point Sarah had left the room.

"Harry."

"Mia." He replies.

"I want you to know that I love you."

"When I found you there shaking I was so scared, you were all alone, just laying there. I thought that people from your school had hurt you again. Mia, I've missed you so much, you don't even know how sorry I am, I probably fucked things up so badly, I want you to know that I really do love you. I picked you up in my arms and ran straight to your house, your mum called the ambulance, they placed you in the back and the sirens went off as they drove into the distance." Harry says with tears pouring out of him.

"Harry, I love you too." Mia knows that Harry cheated on her, she knows she shouldn't be going back to him, but she loves him to much.  She's never felt that way about anyone before, he's her sunshine. Mia feels happy just by looking at him.

He better not hurt me again.

She thinks as she places a kiss on Harry's cheek.

It's now a little bit awkward between Harry and Mia, she knows he cheated on her, he knows she doesn't trust him anymore. Their feelings are all mixed, but their love is undeniable.

Mia is out of hospital and back home. Her mom has become more and more suspicious, she's been sneaking out, having long phone conversations with her new 'boss, she's only been home once this entire week. On the bright side Halloween is coming up- Mia's favourite holiday. She loves everything scary and supernatural, but her favourite part is being able to go shopping with dash and violet and buy them cute costumes. Last year Mia went as a pumpkin, violet and dash were salt and pepper. It was such a good memory that's locked away in her mind.

"Mia!" Violet says bursting through Mia's room.

"What do you want, it's 7:00am." She says as she rolls back over covering her face with her blanket.

"Yeah, but mum also said we're going for a family day out today! Get up and get ready!"

"It's so early!" She groans.

Hmmm I have nothing to wear

She thinks as she searches through her closest.

Mia picks out some grey skinnies, a black flannel, a black singlet to go underneath and to finish it off, her mint green converse.

It'll do.

"Do you want your bacon crispy." Sarah asks Mia as she walks into the kitchen.

"Crispy please." She then pours herself a cup of juice.

"Oh I don't know if violet told you, but I invited Harry, I want us to get to know him more. He will love your brother and sister."

Mia's jaw literally drops. She doesn't want Harry to see her like this, she thinks she looks like a slob with what she's wearing, even though she does look stunning.

"when's he coming?" She asks.

"Should be here any minute."

"Oh my god, mum I'm going to die. Look how ugly I look." Sadness grows in her eyes as she looks down to her thumbs.

"You look beautiful!" Dash says while letting out a little giggle.

"Thanks little man." Mia then walks over giving him a small kiss on his cheek and hugs him.

"Yuck girl germs." He then tries to wiggle out of her tight grip.
"I love you!" She says puckering her lips in a sarcastic way causing Violet to giggle.

Sarah stands there and smiles, she's missed so many beautiful moments like this when she's been working and it aches in her heart knowing she's not been a good mother - the mother they deserve.

There's a small ring at the door, Mia's face goes bright red when she sees Harry through the little hole in the front door.

She's opens it.

"Hey Mia." He says with a goofy smile.

"Harry." She says wrapping her arms around his neck, he then places his hands on her hips.

"MIAS BOYFRIEND!" Dash says as he runs over wrapping around Harry's leg, who is later followed by Violet. They make it nearly impossible for Harry to walk through the door.

He looks beautiful.

Harry is wearing a fluffy green jumper with black skinnies and a pair of brown boots. He manage to wear some jewellery - a star necklace with a yin yang in the middle of it. A closer inspection reveals that it has the initials 'H.S.' Mia's heart is filled with joy when Harry places a kiss on her lips. You can hear the gasps that her family makes.

"Guys..." Sarah says awkwardly interrupting them. "It's time to leave."

Yeah, so I updated. I hope you're all enjoying the story. More interesting stuff will be happening soon, trust me. :-) it's the third last week until the Term 3 holidays. I'm so excited. I hate school so much. I get two weeks break and I'm visiting my friend who lives on the beach and I get to hopefully bring my dog Zimpo.
