Chapter Ten

A loud crash is heard through out the house causing Mia to wake up. It's the blinds moving as the cold winter wind blows.

Mia checks her phone.

It's 3:00am

Just as she's about to lay her head back on the pillow a little body is heard creeping into her room.

"Mia?"

"Violet?" She says rubbing her eyes.

"That noise scared me." She says clinging harder onto her teddy bear that she got from her nana when she was born.

"Come here." Mia says with her arms open.

Violet crawls up onto Mia's bed and hops under the cover with her.

"I miss you." She says with her little voice.

"What do you mean?" Mia says confused.

"You were really sad, but now you're happy again, is it because of that boy."

"Harry?" Says Mia.

"Yeah, he makes you happy. Stay with him. I don't like it when you're sad. You shut everyone out, it makes me sad." Tears begins to grow in violets eyes.

Mia doesn't say a word and hugs her little sister lovingly.

And Violet hugs her back.

"It's so cold, go to sleep now." A kiss is then placed on violets cheek.

She softly rocks her, Then both their eyes shut gently and they drift off to sleep.

"Babe?" Harry says on the other end of the phone.

"Yeah yeah I'm here, I'm just doing the dishes, lemme put you on speaker." She says as crashing and muffled sounds come through the phone.

"Alright."

"Is that Harry?" Dash says standing on his tippy toes - his chin barely reaching the bench.

Violet follows Dash and they begin whispering and giggling.

"Mia wants to kiss you!" Dash says in a mocking voice.

"Dash!" Mia says whacking his bum with a tea towel.

"I want to kiss her too!" Harry says in a cute high pitched voice and a smile escapes Mia's lips.

"When's mum gonna be home?"  Violet asks Mia.

"I'm not sure, but I have to pop by Harry's and can't leave you guys here by yourselves. Do you and dash want to join me!"

"Yes yes yes!" Violet claps her hands and jumps up and down.

"Well go get your brother, I'll be out the front."

Violet runs up stairs and Mia walks to the front door.  She briefly checks what she's wearing in a full length mirror. A Christmas pattern sweater, blue jeans and big wooly ugg boots - her favourite pair. She grabs her coat just in case it's extra cold.

They're in the car and Mia turns the heat up when she notices Dash shiver in the back seat.

"Are we there yet?" Dash says.
"Not yet." Mia replies.
"Are we there yet." He says once more.
"Not yet." Mia begins to get annoyed.
"We there yet?"
"NO!" She yells.

Dash giggles at his attempt of frustrating Mia.

"We are here now."

Violet flys out of the car while dash slowly hops out.

Harry comes through the front door and greets them on the driveway.

Violet runs up and hugs him and then he picks her up as if she were his daughter and she wraps her legs around his body then he places her back down.

"Hey." He says walking over to
Mia.

"Hey." She replies.

Their faces become closer and closer as they stare into each other's eyes.

In a flash Harry's lips are on hers. She feels a spark deep in her stomach, she feels that loving feeling she so desperately missed and needed. They kiss for what seems to be years before they're interrupted by a faint sarcastic coughing sound coming from the two children below their feet.

"Hey little man." Harry says as he high fives dash.

"Come on into my home, it's much to cold out here." He says opening the front door for them.

He would be such a great dad

She thinks as she looks at him playing with her brother and sister, the fond smile he gives them. When he makes them laugh he looks over at Mia, with a beautiful smile. The most beautiful smile she's ever seen. She gets all sorts of feelings, happiness, joy and most of all - love. She loves him.

I love him.

It's now 5 in the afternoon.

Harry puts on a Movie for dash and Violet to watch - finding Nemo. They sit there with their eyes glued to the screen as Harry looks over to Mia, giving her a look as if to follow him. He walks to the kitchen and Mia does too.

"I've missed you." He says placing his hands around her waist and kissing her gently.

She doesn't say a word, she's too taken away by his beauty - by him. Just him is enough to get her heart racing.

"Let's go to my room." He says.

"I haven't been in here in a while." Says Mia as she shuts the wooden door behind her. "I like your room."

Mia takes her coat off because they're now inside and it's warm, she then lays on his bed kicking her shoes off.

Harry then jumps on the bed too.

"You look nice." He says nestling his head closer to her chest.

Mia can't take it anymore. He's too beautiful. Everytime she's with him she feels this feeling, she doesn't know what it is exactly, but she's never felt something so powerful before.

Maybe it's love?

Every time Harry touches her she goes into a trance like state. It's controlling and powerful.

He moves gently closer to her and stares deeply with his piercing green eyes. She feels the adrenaline rush through her.

He places his hand on her neck moving her head closer to his pink - almost red lips. Mia stares at then, she craves his taste. They're perfect, they're soft, they're sweet. They're everything.

Without warning Harry places his lips on hers. It's like the first time they kissed all over again, but this time was different. He kissed her with so much warmth. It was passionate at first, then it was beautiful. The whole time Mia kissed back, trying to give him as much love as she could. Face to face, lips to lips, hands in hands, they're in love. They way Harry feels about her is more then anyone could describe. She's everything he's ever wanted be he doesn't feel like he deserves her, he didn't mean to cheat on her. It was a accident. He wasn't in the right head space, but he's not going to let his thoughts get to him, this is the best kiss he's going to give her. Their tongues playing as if they were children, touching then running away, then touching again. Mia puts her hands through Harry's curly hair making him whimper. He puts his hands on her waist bringing her closer and at this moment everything is perfect. It might not be like this forever. But for now, it's enough.

And I'm in love.
