Emma sat behind the wheel shaking her head to try to stop the ringing in her ears. She pushed on her not fully deflated air bag and tried to take some deep breaths. She looked behind her to Honor looking perfectly fine. She looked over to her side to see Cassie looking shell shocked. Her forehead was bleeding and Emma unconsciously reached up to check her own, which was also bleeding. Cassie climbed out of the jeep. Paige was clutching her wrist. Emma was struck by how quiet it was after the loudness of the crash. The only sound coming from the stereo. "Everyone okay?" Cassie asked, standing just outside of her car.

"My wrist hurts but otherwise good!" Paige said. Emma was amazed at how chipper the girl still sounded.

"Fine " Honor said, "but you guys should probably see a doctor."

"Emma?" Cassie asked when the girl hadn't responded.

"I'm so dead." She knew she should call her parents, but instead she reached under her seat for the binder.

"Why are you flipping through that dumb binder?" Honor asked, pacing outside of the now unusable jeep.

"Because it has to have something in it to save our butts." Emma said fiercely, continuing to search for the answer. It was there she just didn't like it. At the bottom of the page in the emergency section, in Hunter's messy scrawl it said: call if you need help or get in over your head. Emma looked from her car smashed into the tree over to Cassie sitting outside the jeep icing her bleeding forehead with an energy drink.

"I'll just have someone tow it! We can put it on my credit card." Honor said, nonchalantly.

Emma looked at the girl like she was crazy. She had a credit card too. Well she actually had 2. One that Hunter and Amy had locked up from her bio parents where she could basically spend whatever, and one they had given her that had a two thousand dollar limit for emergencies. "I'm not worried about money..." Emma snapped, turning back to the binder. "We told them that we were going to stay in Spokane, you don't think they will be curious why a tow is needed in Oregon?"

Honor shrugged, as long as it wasn't a public scandal her parents wouldn't care. "We wanted to eat Tilamook ice cream in Tilamook."

How could she have let this happen? Emma was screaming at herself internally. Her parents had trusted her and she had blown it for ice cream. So stupid. She put the binder down and started to circle around the jeep, praying that a miracle would occur and the car could be fixed.

"Call your other dad, I'm sure he could have the exact same car delivered to us here." Honor looked hard at the jeep too, clearly already shopping in her mind.

"Hunter will know it's not the same car. There is a dent in the back from where I backed into the brick wall in the front yard, and one in the door from where Niko ran into it on his bike." Emma bit the side of her fingernail. God she was in trouble. "I didn't even want to do this."

"You suggested ice cream!" Paige finally chimed in. She was sitting on a fallen log holding her wrist.

"Yeah in freaking Spokane!" Emma shouted. She took a deep breath, getting angry wouldn't help.

Honor looked around at the three injured girls, "We should get you guys to a hospital."

"How?" Paige asked.

Emma shook her head, she volunteered in the ER Amy worked at. "They will just call our parents for consent."

"So what are we going to do now?" Cassie asked, softly.

Emma looked over at the blood still pouring from her friend's forehead. She had made the wrong choice once when it came to safety by leaving Honor drunk and passed out in the woods. She wouldn't do it again. "Now, I call my dad."
