Teen Trouble

Amy started at the computer screen and listened to her husband's breathing over the line. "Maybe...he wants us to come in because she is getting an award."

She heard Hunter laugh, but it wasn't a good natured one. "The awards dinner was last week for academics and sports."

"I'm just saying maybe we don't go into this meeting assuming that she is in trouble."

"Why is the headmaster and the dean of students on this email then?"

"Maybe she's improved that much."

"She's in trouble." Hunter sighed.

"H..." Amy said reproachfully. She was rereading the email requesting meeting with her or Hunter after school.

"She has been a terror at home since her birthday. I'm not surprised that this has spilled over into her school life, since you haven't allowed me to correct it."

"She's going through a lot right now. It's the last week of school, her parents are gone, and we just brought a new baby home." Amy said.

"We all are Aims. I haven't been on her case because you have asked me not to be, but if she is in trouble at school, she's getting spanked tonight and grounded for this last week of school."

"Hunter, I just feel like we need to ease up through this time. Maybe retighten the reigns this summer after she gets back from camp and time with her parents." Amy said.

"If she is in trouble at school, then she is getting spanked tonight and grounded for the week left of school."

"Freshman bonfire is this Friday, and roller skating is next Wednesday after the last day of school." Amy objected.

"If she is in trouble at school," Hunter said for a third time slowly. "She is getting a spanking tonight and is grounded this week."

"You know what?" Amy asked, switching gears. "Its silly for you to leave work when I'm just sitting around the house. I can call the school and see if I can drop Niko and just take Luca up with me."

"First of all, woman," Hunter growled. "I have already told you that you need to be keeping Niko's routine and taking him to school..."

"Why should he be in school if I am home for three months?" Amy cut in. She bit her lip, knowing that she had been disobedient in not keeping Niko's schedule. Hunter had insisted on taking him, but Amy had insisted that she would ask Emma to drop him off today.

"Don't interrupt me."

Amy knew she was treading on thin ice. It did take Hunter 6 months to spank her after she gave birth to Niko. She wondered if he would do the same this time, since it wasn't their first rodeo. "Yes sir. You're right." She said softly. "I'm sorry. That was disrespectful."
