Chapter 30: It's Up To Me

"Hey Niall," I decided to talk to Niall first and see if I could get anything from him first, I mean I don't want to go behind his back and do something and in the end he'll say, "Then why didn't you ask me," like one of those predictable movies.

"Hi Amanda,"

"I was just wondering, who'd you go to the ice cream shop with earlier? You usually don't go unless there is a reason,"

"I just..felt like ice cream that day I guess,"

"Mmmm I beg to differ. The first food you would go to I doubt would be ice cream,"

"It is for you,"

"For me, exactly,"

"Why are you so worried about my diet anyway?"

"I'm not worried, it's just...did you happen to talk to Brittany?"

"Brittany? That's who you're worried about? Why?"

"...Are you keeping a secret from me?"

"Why would you think that?"

"Because you and 5 billion other people I talk to keep avoiding the question!"

"Why are you mad?"

"Because! All I wanna know is if you're hiding something from me! If you cheated off my test, big woop, I'll get over it! Just please, please tell me if you are hiding something from me," He stood there silent looking at me. "No I am not hiding anything from you,"

"Liar," I said under my breath and walked away. If I ever want to get anything done, I gotta take it into my own hands.

"Kimberlie?"

"Hey," she answered. "Can you talk to Blair for me?"

"I missed you so much to be honest. I haven't hung out with you forever! And if the me 'picking on you' made you feel bad you should've told me!" Blair said giving me a hug. "I forgive you B, I could never stay mad at you,"

"What did you need, you said you needed to talk to me?"

"Oh yeah, it's about Brittany,"

"If you want me to get her back for you? Sure,"

"What?"

"I'm kind of getting somewhat tired of her. Especially since you left! She's been treating me like a slave and I've about had it. I may flash out like you did," she laughed and I laughed with her. "I wouldn't stop you," I joked. "I need you to get some information for me if you don't mind,"

"Like what?"

"Apparently Brittany is keeping a secret and its against my friend. I would like to know it and since you still talk to her.."

"So what you're saying is I have to put up with her for you?"

"Yes?"

"Ugh, fine, but only for you,"

"Yay!"

"First I need to know what you want to know, because I can't be stranded and somehow framed of something I didn't know,"

"Definitely! Okay so.." I took the the time to explain what I had learned from Amanda. Blair was full of questions, but that's just her, especially when she wants to figure out something for herself. I guess you could call it ambitious? But what would I know. "It's like it's only you and me that can get her what she needs,"

"Really you actually,"

"True. Okay, I will try to figure out somthing and snoop around. It might take a while though and it definitely won't be easy. But I mean not too hard considering the only bodyguards she has was you, me and her ungrateful chihuahua,"

"What happened?"

"I fed the stupid dog and it bit me! I was gonna kick it but Brittany was still in the room and I had no one to blame it on," I laughed. "What did Brittany do?"

"Nothing, she just said I should be more careful," she rolled her eyes. "What a b-,"

"No! Don't say it," I said covering her mouth.
