"Amanda, wake up," I heard my mom's soft voice and started to open my eyes my vision from pitch blackness to-
"AHHH" I jumped and quickly squirmed away from her almost falling off the bed, but I caught my self before knocked myself into another dark sleep.

"What's the matter?" She asked but her face looked creepiest I've ever seen it. "Amanda?"

"Oh my gosh, mom don't do that," She laughed, "Do what?"

She looked at her face in the mirror and a light bulb went off in her head. "Oh! My face mask,"

"You look awful, that stuff is suppose to help you,"

"I know, I know, but I couldn't wait to wake you up,"

"Why?" I said getting up and getting myself back together like that never happened. "You can try for your tempts today!"

Oh right. My tempts.

I was so caught up in finding out secrets that I forgot to study...

"I don't think I'm ready yet,"

"You use to be so excited to finally drive, why do you not think you're ready?"

Because I'm didn't study.

"Nervous,"

"Everyone gets nervous honey," she started talking louder as she walked into the bathroom to clean herself up.

"You'll do fine, it's easy,"

"You never have to take it again though,"

"I know, the best part of taking it is you don't have to take it again. If you pass that is,"

The moment of a sophomore's dream, but I'm too focused on one thing right now. But then again it could make my life easier. But then again I'd have to drive with a licence driver. But then again I don't really know a license driver besides Cassie's sister and...my mom.

Think about it.

Me in the car with mom. Her yelling "Stop!"
Or "Slow down!" And finally saying "You know what...lemme drive instead," I'll never learn with her being my passenger.

"Let me study a little more okay?"

"Okay, whatever you thinks best," she said coming out of the bathroom drying her face and heading to the living room.

"Kimberlie, how was your test?"

"I did a perfect job," she said smiling then taking a sip of tea. "Did you study?"

"Definitely! That's only thing I ever studied for so much in my life,"

"Well I got an okay grade, didn't ace or barely make it, but you'll do fine," Blair said placing her hand on mine. "It's not like you'll never be able to take it again," Then she started texting on her phone.

"How'd you guys study?"

"Practice tests," Kimberlie exclaimed. "Read the book," Blair answered.

A ring came at the door and into came Aaron. "What's up guys?" He said sliding a chair over and sitting in it backwards. "Nothing much," Blair looked up from her phone. "Amanda is nervous for her test," Kimberlie added.

"Test?"

"Tempts,"

"Oh yeah, easy,"

"Has everyone taken it already?!"

"I mean now you can take yours so you won't be the odd ball out. Plus my sister hasn't taken hers yet, she can tomorrow,"

"Oh really,"

"Yeah, she's been locked in her room working on something all day. I thought it was school work at first but she's not a school person,"

"No one's a school person," I joked. "True,"

It was silent for a second then Aaron spoke, "Want to study with me?"

"Uh-,"

"Of course she does! More the merrier!" Kimberlie interrupted. I looked at her then back at Aaron smiling nodding my head.

"Okay cool, see ya,"

"Bye," Blair and I said in unison. "BYE!" Kimberlie was so happy for what reason again?

"Thanks a lot Kimberlie,"

"No wait," Blair interjected. "Maybe going to his place isn't a bad thing. You get to work your magic and maybe get some answers,"

"Were you really trying to do that Kimberlie?"

She was looking her compact mirror applying make up then looked at us. "Huh?"
