Husbands Over Flowers

Chapter 1

"Oh, I'm so excited to go stay with Jan Di!!" Said Oh-Jae-Ri, grinning as she tossed clothes into a suitcase.
"Don't you go and get dazzled by Seoul and forget about your poor old eomma!" Teased her mother, Oh-Sun-Yong.
"I promise to call at least once a week." She replied, throwing her arms around her mother.
"Oh don't worry to much about me, you just find yourself a good husband like Jan di has done!" She said, with a twinkle in her eye.
"Eommaaa!!"
"Oh fine, but if a nice looking rich man looks at you favorably, don't reject him."
"EOMMAA!!"
"Fine, hurry and pack. Your plane leaves in 3 hours."

After she lands in Seoul:
"Hmm, where is she?" She mutters, casting her eyes around the crowded airport looking for her best friend. She spots a tall, very handsome man walking towards her.
"Excuse me, but are you by any chance Oh Jae Ri?" He said smiling, exposing his very white teeth.
"Y-yes..who are you?"
"I hope I haven't startled you. My name is Yoon Jihoo, A friend of Jan Di and Jun Pyo. She got caught up in something last minute and asked me to come get you in her place."
"Oh no, its fine! Thank you for coming to get me, I hate to be a burden.."
"Oh not at all. I had nothing else to do, so there was no reason I couldnt help a friend out. Besides, I got to meet such a pretty girl." He said, laughing lightly at her blushing face and grabbing her luggage; "Come on."

"Are you sure it's okay that we asked Jihoo to get her? I trust him with all my heart but he may make Jae Ri nervous..." Said Jan Di, wringing her hands as she sat in the beautiful restaurant having lunch with her husband; "Why didn't you tell me before that you had made reservations here?"
"The truth is.... I made reservations this morning." Said Jun Pyo, laughing; "I wanted to spend time with you before she got here, and Jihoo could always use the help."
"What do you mean? We used HIS help.."
"Jihoo needs to meet women. Maybe Jae Ri is the one for him!" Said Jun Pyo, laughing.
"GOO JUN PYO! HOW DARE YOU INVOLVE JAE RI IN SUCH A SCHEME!!" she said, smacking his arm.

"Thank you very much, sunbae." Jae Ri said as they pulled up to the house, starting to open the car door.
"No, wait a moment." Jihoo said, exiting the car with a very serious face.
"Oh no, is something wrong?" Jae Ri muttered to herself.
"After you." She looked up and saw that Jihoo had opened the door, and had a hand held out to help her from the car.
"Oh..." She said, blushing as she took his hand and got out of the car, when she suddenly tripped over the curb and landed in his arms.
"I'm so sorry sunbae!" She said quickly, starting to pull away when his arms around her tightened, and he rested his head on her shoulder.
"....Sunbae?.." She said, with a little confusion in her voice.
"...Don't call me that."
"What?"
"Don't call me sunbae. Call me Jihoo-ya"
