Chapter 4

Lucy's POV

I run to my fathers office and knock on the door. "Come,"he says angrily. I slowly walk in and keep my head down. I slowly lift my head up to see his head down. "You can turn the alarm off now," i say. He suddenly lifts his head up and relief washes over him. He gets up and comes up to me. He hugs me and i hug back. He pulls away and starts the scolding. Eventually I'm sent to my room to think over my actions. My father got mad but he never stays mad too long. I lie down and think about today. Natsu's sweet, he's different from other guys I've met. He may be a dragon but that doesn't change anything. I think about him and my heart starts racing again. I fall asleep thinking about Natsu.

Natsu's POV

I'm sitting on the meadow looking over the horizon, watching the sun rise over Fiore. Im waiting for Lucy to show up, its 8:10 but i know she'll come. Her eyes told me that. Suddenly something jumps on my back and i spin and pin it to the ground. Rather i pin her down and see Lucy looking surprised rather than scared. Suddenly my heart starts pounding. "You didn't get scared from me pinning you down?" i ask. "No just surprised," she says smiling. I stare into her big brown eyes for what seems like eternity until I hear a noise that brings me back to reality. "Oh I'm sorry," i say getting up. I hold my hand out and she takes it. When i pull her up,she does something unexpected. She hugs me. I hug her back and wait for her to pull away. Except she doesn't she just stays hugging me. We stay like this for a couple minutes and i pull away. I look at her and she looks a bit pale. "Are you okay Luce, you look a little pale," i ask worriedly. "I'm fine," she says avoiding my eyes. Shes unsteady on her feet and looks like she's sweating. She tries to pull away from me but i pull her close. I put my forehead against hers and close my eyes. "What are you doing?!?" she says trying to pull away. I don't let her and stare at her face. Shes blushing and that makes my heart race even more. I pull away and pick her up bridal style and start walking. "Natsu,what are you doing?" she asks. "I'm carrying you to my house," i say smiling. "What why?" she asks widening her eyes. "You have a fever and you're pale not to mention you're unsteady on your feet, I'm not taking you into the city today. You're resting today," i say. "Natsu i can walk," she says. "Say whatever you want Luce, you're going to my house and you're not walking so get comfortable because we got some time,"i say. "Fine," she says while pouting. I smile and keep walking. About halfway i look at Luce to see her asleep. She looks so beautiful, she looks so perfect. I smile at her blushing face and keep walking to the house.

Lucy's POV

I wake up in a bed in a new room. I think about where i am and remember what Natsu said. I'm probably in his house. I try to get up and instantly fall. "Ouch," I murmur rubbing my leg. Suddenly i hear a bunch of things dropping and Natsu rushes into the room. "Shit, are you okay Luce?" he asks worriedly. "I'm fine Natsu, i just fell because for some reason i can't feel my legs," i say. Natsu suddenly pales and picks me up bridal style again. I instantly blush and ask Natsu, "Where are we going?" "We are going see my friend Wendy," he says. "Why?" i ask. "Shes got healing magic," he says.
