Chapter 19

Lucy's POV
I took up magic in secret when i ran away with Natsu. I wanted to be ready in case something happened so i always had my keys on me. I use Celestial Spirit Magic which means i can summon the spirits. I absolutely love them all and they're always there for me. Theres only been a couple circumstances where I've had to use them and this is one of them. Currently we're in a standoff with Zeref waiting for someone to make a move. Well might as well change out of this gown, theres no way i can fight in this even if the spirits do more than me. I pull out one of my special keys, a wardrobe key. I kneel down and push the key out into the air. I feel wind and i look down to see myself in some better clothes. I can make the wardrobe key give me any type of clothes and make it appear on my body. Im currently wearing a simple outfit, a pair of jeans and a tank top. I just need to be comfortable to maximize my use of magic. "How the hell did u do that?" I hear Zeref ask. Natsu turns towards me and widens his eyes. "How did you change so fast? Where did you even get the clothes from?" he asks confused. I smile and say, "My key," while holding it up. I hear a gasp and turn to Wendy. "You use Celestial Spirit Magic?," Wendy asks excited. "Yeah,"  i say. "Whats that?!?," Zeref yells in anger. "Heh. Surprised you don't know it. Well heres how it works," i start to say. I pull out one of my gold keys, Leo. "Gate of the Lion, I open thee, Leo!," I say taking his key and pushing it into the air. A magic circle appears and bright yellow light comes pouring out. Instantly a man i know as Leo appears next to me. In his designer suit and his orangey golden hair in a lions mane. "Oh finally, a real battle. No offense Lucy," Leo says smiling at me. I chuckle and turn towards Natsu. "Ill do all the introductions later right now, we've got a problem," i say to him. He nods and turns back to Zeref. "Still think we're gonna be easy to beat," i ask Zeref smiling. "Of course i do," he says not sounding too convincing. I turn to Leo and whisper that Zeref is using forbidden magic, Ankhseram Black Magic. He nods and smiles, "No problem," he says back. Finally Zeref makes a move throwing a purplish flame directly at me. Natsu tries to jump in the way but Leo gets a head start on him blocking the magic with his Regulus Combat Magic. "Thanks Leo, don't worry about me Natsu," i say. He nods and releases a fire roar at Zeref. At the same time, the others release their respective roars at Zeref. Theres a gaping hole in the wall where Zeref was. Theres no way it could've been that easy. I look around and spot him flying with his flames. Leo's already spotted him and is going at him with his Regulus. It turns into a fist fight between them and i gape at them. No one has ever been able to keep up with Leo's punches. I already see that some of the others are tired and losing magic. That's unrealistic since we just started fighting. Zeref must have some type of spell on this place. Ive gotta to help! "Gate of the Archer, i open thee, Sagittarius!" Sagittarius appears next to me and i ask him to try to shoot Zeref but not hurt Leo. He nods and brings out his bow. He aims and shoots. Zeref dodged his arrows and Leo widens his eyes. Zeref takes this opportunity to punch Leo in the gut. "Leo!" I yell. "Im sorry Lucy," he says smiling bitterly. "Its okay Leo, you're too tired to keep fighting. Go back to the Celestial Spirit World," I say. "Be careful Lucy, he's not like a normal enemy," he says cautiously. "I know," i say as i close his gate. Sagittarius keeps trying to shoot his arrows at Zeref but he keeps dodging them. "Sagittarius, this isn't going anywhere. Go back to the Celestial Spirit World," i say disappointed. "Sorry Lucy," he says to me. "Its okay Sagittarius," i say, closing his gate. I look at Zeref and wonder what he did to himself. I remember when i first met him years ago, he was bad but still had good in him. Now its like evil just took over him. Zeref launches a huge flame at us and we get hit falling to the floor. Time for the finishing move Zeref says. He launches another purple flame and i brace for impact but it never comes. I hear slurping noises and instantly the thought of Natsu comes into mind. Sure enough, i look up to see him eating the flames Zeref threw at us. Uh oh i whisper not worrying about Natsu but about Zeref. When Natsu eats someone else's flames, the enemy isn't gonna last long. I hear Natsu roar and i smile. "Now I'm fired up!"
