Chapter 6

Lucy's POV

I widen my eyes in shock but then close my eyes and kiss back. I feel like my hearts gonna explode and i feel sparks (as if Laxus was here😂). We kiss for a solid minute and pull away to catch our breath. I smile and touch my lips while looking down. "Hey Luce" i hear Natsu say. His hand pushes my head up and he lays his forehead on mine."I think I love you. I've never felt this way before, my heart races when I'm around you and i finally feel like i have something to live for," he says staring into my eyes, his ears tinged with red. I blush and say, "i think i love you too." He instantly smiles and i see relief on his face. "Thank god, i don't know what id do without you," he says pulling away from me. "You're the first girl who's ever accepted me for me, a dragon," he adds. I smile and say, "you're the first guy who's ever treated me as a normal girl and not the royal princess." "Oh Luce you're always gonna be a princess in my heart, with or without the title," he says smiling at me. "Oh Natsu stop it, since when did you become a smooth talker," i say blushing. We start laughing when we hear the front door open. We listen closely and hear the stomping leaving the house. "Phew," I murmur. "Come on Luce, lets go back downstairs," Natsu says holding his hand out. "Alright," i say, "lets get me back to the castle hopefully before my fathers sends out the entire army instead a couple soldiers."

Natsu's POV

"Natsu, how are we gonna get to castle without being caught," Lucy asks. "We're gonna fly there obviously," i say smiling. "F-fly?!" she exclaims. "Yes Lucy, i may not be full dragon but i can fly like a dragon" i say starting to take my shirt off. "Natsu what are you doing?!?" she says covering her eyes. I chuckle and say "i cant pull my wings out if I'm wearing a shirt Luce." I walk up to her and pull her hands away from her eyes. I whisper,"Well Luce, you're gonna see a lot of this so you should get used to it." She turns red like a tomato and i pick her up. "Ready"i ask. "As ready as I could be," she says a little scared. "You'll be fine as long as you are with me," i say reassuringly. "Bye Natsu-san, bye Lucy-san," Wendy yells from the house. "Bye Wendy," i say in unison with Lucy. I get ready and take off for the castle.

We get to the castle in about half and hour. Lucy keeps looking down in awe. "You like the view Luce?" I ask. "Yeah i do, the kingdoms so pretty from up here," she says, her eyes sparkling. I land a couple hundred feet away from the castle and put Lucy down. "Are you sure you can get in easily," i ask worried. I don't want her to collapse halfway there. "Yes Natsu ill be fine. I feel a lot better thanks to your friend Wendy," she says. We hug and she whispers in my ear to meet at the meadow again in two days. "Okay Luce be careful," i say pulling away. "I will," she says and starts walking towards the castle. I watch her until shes out of my sight and then fly back to the house.
