The Dragon and the Princess (NatsuxLucy Fairy Tale)

Chapter 10

Lucy's POV
"A dragon are you crazy?!?" my father yells. Currently im in my fathers office getting yelled at. I knew Dan was gonna rat me out so i was ready for this. "No i am not crazy," i say. "You know dragons are disgusting beasts-" i cut him off. "No they are not disgusting. Have you even met a dragon," i yell at him, "thats right you havent. You assume they're terrible because of stories you've heard but they're not!" I run out of the office and into my room. I lock the door and slide down it burying my head into my knees. Oh Natsu, please save me soon.
I wake up and fall back on my bed. Todays the wedding and i haven't seen Natsu seen the incident. Yesterday i started to lose hope but then I remembered Natsu's words to be ready so i never stopped believing in him. Although i wish he'd come soon, the wedding's in a couple hours. A maid knocks on my door and tells me to get up. I refuse and pretend to go back to sleep. "Princess, you must wake up. Its your wedding, you must be excited. We have to get you ready princess, we don't have time for this," she says. I groan and bury my head in my pillow. "Princess if you don't wake up, ill be forced to call your fiancé here," she says teasingly. I get up and start telling her over and over not to. Of course, she took it wrong and assumed i was shy towards him instead of the fact that i despise him. I get up and go to take a shower and put on a gown laid out for me. I look in the mirror and admire it. It's beautiful and it would be even more beautiful if Natsu's black tux was next to it. I close my eyes and imagine our wedding, small with friends but cozy too. I've always wanted a big wedding but id be fine with anything as long as its with Natsu.Suddenly hands wrap around me and i open my eyes to see a figure wrapped around me hugging me. I assume its Natsu and just stand there. But then i think about it, even if he concealed his face id see his bright pink hair. I panic and kick backwards and the figure falls in pain. I turn around and see Dan on the floor. "Dan what the hell are you doing here?!?" I yell at him. "Why'd you kick me Luce?" he asks groans in pain. I widen my eyes and grab his collar. "Don't you ever call Luce again, its Lucy to you. Not even Lucy, call me princess for all i care," i tell him.Blood drains from his face and he nods. I let go of him and shove him out the door. Oh Natsu the weddings starting, where are you? I think.
