Chapter 18

Natsu's POV
I fly up to the top with Lucy in my arms. "God dammit," I hear Zeref mumble. "You will never hurt Lucy, not while I'm around," i say. "Whatever?" he says laughing, "I have an advantage i didn't have before." "And whats that?" I hear Lucy question from behind me. "Magic," he says grinning and placing his hand out. A dark purple flame emerges from thin air in his hand. "Ankhseram Black magic to be exact, the most chaotic magic of Fiore!," he yells into the sky. I hear Lucy gasp behind me and i know this is serious. "Natsu, that's forbidden magic,"lucy whispers to me. "Zeref, you need to calm down," i say slowly. "Calm down? Calm down?!?" he says angrily. He takes the magic in his hand and throws it at us. I grab Lucy and duck, dodging the magic by an inch. I look to where the magic hit and there is a gaping hole in the wall. Lucy gasps and holds onto me. I know that i wont be able to fight with her here. I'm sure i wont even be able to beat him without help. Help from my friends. I lean back and whisper to Lucy to cover her ears. She nods and takes her hands from my waist to her ears. I release a roar that sends Zeref to his knees. That wasnt the purpose of it but that works. "What the hell was that for?!?" Zeref yells, "Its not like thats gonna stop me!" "Who said it was supposed to?," I say grinning. Suddenly i hear more roars and i smile. "Natsu is that..." Lucy starts to say but i cut her off. "Yes, Lucy. Yes it is," i say. She smiles and i look to Zeref. He looks confused, just the way i like my enemies. Suddenly 4 figures appear at the window and climb in. I turn and see Sting, Rogue, Gajeel and Wendy observing the situation. "Sting, can you take Lucy somewhere safe?," I ask him. "Yeah, i can be back in a few," he says. "But Natsu, i wanna stay..." "No buts Lucy," i cut her off saying. "B-b-but i can fight too!" she says pouting. I turn and stare at her. "What?" I ask in disbelief. "You lovebirds can fight later, or i can pulverize you right here, right now," Zeref says annoyed. "You promise me you can do this?" I ask worried. "If i cant then ill leave, no buts," she says smiling. "Fine but what magic do you use?" I say curiously. "You'll see Natsu-DUCK GUYS!" someone yells. I grab Lucy and tumble to the ground. "Again Zeref, i swear I'm gonna beat your ass," i say angrily. "Whatever, now you gonna introduce me to who i have to fight,". He says curiously looking at their wings. Ugh, still the same guy. Wont even take a fight seriously, his curiosity always gets the better of him. "Thats Sting, dragon of light. Rogue, dragon of shadow. Gajeel, dragon of metal. Wendy, dragon of sky. Happy?" I ask. "Yes, i am so I'm gonna have to go against 5 dragons and your little wife, that'll be easy," he says grinning evilly. My face tightens in anger and i get ready. If he thinks we're going down without a fight, he's sure as hell wrong. "Be careful Lucy," i say staring at Zeref. "Likewise Natsu," she says. Lets get this party started.
