Chapter 12

Natsu's POV
"Nash, Luna! Come on, its dinner time," i yell. "Coming Dad!" I hear them yell back. Nash is already 14 and Luna's turning 8. I smile and sit across from Luce at the table. She looks like shes thinking about something. "Penny for your thoughts Luce," i ask. She smiles and says that she was thinking about visiting her father. Normally i would've been like what, why but recently the king had fell ill and theres a small chance of recovery. "Do you want us to come?" i ask. "You'd do that?" she looks up and asks. "Of course Luce, id do anything for you," i say and get up. I go over to her and kiss her. It feels just like it did 15 years ago. "Dad, mom we told you to cut back on the PDA," Nash says acting disgusted. "Oh, shut up Nash, you know you don't care if they kiss in front of you or not," Luna says. "Haha alright kids sit down and eat dinner. Tomorrow, we're gonna go somewhere special," i say smiling at Luce. "Ooh where are we going Dad?" Luna asks all excited. I ruffle her long pink hair and say "its a surprise." Oh a surprise it will be.
Lucy's POV
"Come on Mom, tell us!," Nash whines. I kneel down to get to his height. "Sweetie, we're almost there, you'll see when we get there," i say ruffling his blond hair. "Mom, you know i don't like that!" he says frantically trying to fix his hair. I chuckle and look at Natsu. He looks a little worried. "Whats the matter Natsu?" i ask. "Im scared they'll take you away from me," he says shyly. "Oh, even if they did, can i count on you to save me again?" i ask. "Of course you can," he says grabbing my hand and intertwining his fingers with mine. "Oh my god mom, are we going to the castle?!?" Luna yells. "Yes sweetie yes we are," i say smiling. Luna was always a smart one for her age. "But mom, why?" Nash asks. "Because before mom married dad and had you guys, mom was the princess of this country," i say smiling.
