[The short starts with a file thwacking onto Blitzo's desk, revealing crude drawings of I.M.P's latest assassination. These drawings are meant for Stolas as a guideline for him to write his latest report. Cut to the reception desk, where Stolas picks up the papers and is completely confused as he looks at the drawings.]
Stolas: What is this?
[Stolas tries to write a description of what the drawings represent in his diary, but he's completely stumped. We see he's scribbled out several attempts. Moxxie enters, drinking his latest cup of boba and humming to himself, when he sees Stolas stumped.]
Moxxie: Your Highness? You doing OK?
Stolas: [sighs] Hardly. Blitzo asked me to write a follow-up report for him, but this... [shows the drawings to Moxxie] ...is all he gave me to work with! I have no idea what these are supposed to mean!
[Moxxie picks up the drawings and scans them.]
Moxxie: Well, you can just write whatever you want. The truth here is less important than the... entertainment value.
Stolas: What? What do you mean?
Moxxie: Truth be told, the only reason we do these reports for the client is so they tell everyone what great assassins we are. So the better the story, the better we look.
Stolas: Really?
Moxxie: Let me see what you have so far.
[As he starts reading the report, the scene fades into a version of the assassination, as drawn in Blitzo's crude artstyle.]
Moxxie: "Upon entering the human world, Blitzo acquired visual confirmation of the first target outside a restaurant. He observed the target eating a bowl of spicy noodles topped with fatty pork, mushrooms, seaweed, green onion, ground nuts, and a seasoned soft-boiled egg."
[The music gets more and more distorted as Moxxie realizes Stolas has gone overboard in describing the target's meal.]
Moxxie: "He also had an order of dumplings. He ordered an extra side of sauce. He also ordered—"
[Back to reality.]
Moxxie: Seriously?! What—what is this?
Stolas: I'm just trying to be as accurate and thorough as possible.
Moxxie: Oh, Your Highness, no, no, no. The client doesn't want to hear about this. You gotta use your imagination. Spice it up a little, like a novel.
Stolas: Oh, oh, I see. OK, so perhaps he wasn't eating lunch alone.
[Cut to his imagination, now with the target eating with someone. The target's partner is seen rapidly flashing through several options as Stolas thinks of what this partner should be.]
Stolas: Maybe he was with a... friend?
[The partner solidifies into a friend.]
Moxxie: Um, sure, sure, but, um, let's take it a little farther, maybe? Like, what if this friend had a gun?
[The friend brandishes a gun out of nowhere. The camera pans to reveal Stolas and Moxxie are also in the fantasy, watching everything unfold.]
Stolas: [gasps] A gun?
Moxxie: All stories are better with a gun. He has it because he's the target's former partner from his old life of crime.
Stolas: Right, right, I see. And this partner and him shared more than just a life of crime. They shared a secret passion that only they knew about.
Moxxie: There you go! Now you're getting into it.
Stolas: This is the first time they've seen each other since those long-forgotten days. The tension proved to be too much, and...
