MY P.O.V.

boomed the loud speakers. I couldn't wait to see my dad! After getting my luggage, I went to a Starbucks inside the airport. I just ordered a frappachino when I heard a familiar voice call out my name. I turned my head around and was enveloped in a bear hug by my dad. .

Wait! Did he just call mom beautiful? Does this mean that he could possibly still have feelings for her? What if we can become a perfect family again? Okay, I'm getting a little carried away now. Wait! So he called me beautiful too? There's no way I'm beautiful! Beautiful is like Victoria, that bitch I've hated since the second grade! She always ruined whatever happiness I had! She used to bully me, my ex boyfriend who I loved so much cheated on me with Victoria, all of my so called friends left me because Victoria made fun of me. She was always better than me at everything!

my dad asked, looking at me with a concerned look on his face. I said hoping he would believe it. . I said excitedly. I loved my dad's house. It was WAY bigger than my mom's house. Then again, my mom is a teacher while my dad is a successful director. So we both walked out of the airport and I was greeted with a warm welcome from the sun. I love LA so much!

Wait! Where's dad's car? . . Cab? He had like 20 different cars for Christ's sake! I smirked. . I stood there shocked. . My dad looked confused. he muttered under his breath. , my voice getting louder. . I agreed, knowing he was really stubborn.

We put my suitcase in the trunk and sat in. My dad took a deep breath in.

"She-Devil". And the main actress in the movie is Karen. And one day we were discussing the script in her dressing room, and uhh well it was just us two, alone, and uhh well you know.....>. , I spat. . I was shocked, of course I would hate her! .

I regret yelling at him, he looked so hurt. . Dad was so relieved when I said that. , he grinned. Okay, so maybe this won't be that bad. Well I already hate her because now there is no way mom and dad will be getting together anytime soon!

I quietly stared out the window looking at the houses. The further we drove, the bigger the houses got. , my dad smiled. , this is awesome! Maybe this wouldn't be as bad as I thought!

. . . I really hated saying that, but I was doing it for dad's sake. Dad smiled and hugged me tight. . I said, mumbling the last part. I just continued to stare out the window. Why did that name sound so familiar? Karen Walters. Well dad did say she's an actress. But I haven't seen much movies lately. Plus it feels like I heard that name from before, maybe even before mom and dad got divorced. The cab turned onto the driveway and I started feeling uneasy. Something wasn't right.
