Chapter 17: Double Date

MY P.O.V:

We finally reached my dad's house. It was 10pm so Victoria and I decided to spend the night here. We parked the car on the driveway and went in. My dad came home the same time as us, so we had a race to the door. I came in first. After all, running from Logan's tickle threats increased my speed, by a lot! Urgh! Why am I thinking of him again? My dad came in second and Victoria came in last. Yea she sucks at anything athletic! , my dad joked. , said Victoria sarcastically. We all laughed and walked inside. It actually felt like we were a proper family right now! Probably because Karen wasn't home. I jumped on the sofa and turned on the tv. , demanded Victoria. , I said and continued watching tv. , she said. , I retorted. Then I saw Victoria grin. . , I yelled. , she giggled. , I asked. , she said. Oh. I felt pretty stupid right now.

, said my dad as he walked in the living room. , I screamed. , said my dad. , he asked. I felt my face get hot and I ran to my room before a single tear shed. I heard Victoria yelling and then I slammed my door shut. I sat on my bed and began to cry. After a couple of minutes, I heard the door open. My dad walked in and sat beside me. My knees were pulled up to my chest, so he couldn't see my face. , he said quietly. Before he could say anything else, I hugged my dad. I quietly cried in his chest. . That was the first time I told anyone that I love Logan! Well I told Victoria, but she's my sister so it doesn't really count. , said my dad. I nodded my head and he looked at me and wiped away the tears from my face. , he said. , I smiled and hugged him. Then we heard a feminine cough. , I said. We both looked at the door. , we said in sync. She must've been eavesdropping because instantly she came inside. We all started laughing. , Victoria asked. She fluttered her eyelashes and gave me a puppy dog face. , I sighed and rolled my eyes. , I said to Victoria. I don't think she took it that well, because the next second I got hit in the face with a pillow! , I screamed and chased her around the house. Victoria ran in the living room and I followed her with a pillow! My dad ran after us. , he yelled. But we didn't stop! Dad looked like he was gonna explode! , he yelled, and started chasing us with a pillow! Eventually he caught up to us and we were all hitting each other with pillows! It sounds kinda lame but it was pretty fun! After a while I got exhausted and collapsed on the floor. Then Victoria ran and tripped. She fell right on top of me! My dad saw us and started laughing! , I screamed. , said Victoria. , I replied. Victoria tried to keep a serious face. , I said and she broke into laughter. Then we all went downstairs to fetch our pillows. I went back to my room and yelled, . I got two replies back; one from Victoria's room and one from the living room. I heard the tv and groaned. That could've been me watching tv right now! Instead I went to my room and jumped into bed. I fell into a deep slumber.
