Chapter 3: Karen
MY P.O.V:
We stepped out of the cab and dad payed the driver. He walked over to the trunk and managed to carry all of my suitcases. I have to admit, my dad was pretty strong. He shut the trunk and the cab sped away. We were walking to the door until another cab pulled up beside the curb. Out came a woman who seemed to be in her early 40's. She had long wavy blonde hair; obviously fake. She had a disgusting spray tan, a really tight mini dress, which had to be her daughter's and too much makeup. Whether I knew her from before or not, it would be impossible to recognize her with all that makeup on. She reminded me of a barbie doll; fake from head to toe!
She had at least 10 shopping bags in her hand and she called to us. . I don't remember having a girlfriend, so I'm assuming she was calling dad. he winked at her. She started waking over to us, but stopped. , she asked with a questioning look on her face. dad smiled. I said plastering a fake but believable smile on my face. Well, dad believed it. she said looking unimpressed. I said correcting her. she said rolling her eyes. I glanced at my dad who was busy on his phone. Thanks for backing me up dad! said my dad. Jeez, where were you 20 seconds ago?
We were about to walk in, until she called out for my dad. . What a lazy ass! my dad asked. . I was a little disappointed. Don't worry dad I totally get it! Cake face Karen is tired from shopping because it's so exhausting. But I'm not tired even though I packed my own suitcase, and went on a 6 hour flight to come here. No! I'm perfectly fine. I got snapped out of my thoughts after Barbie shoved me by "accident" with a smirk on her face. I know I'm not a genius, but I don't think we'll be getting along very well.
We entered dad's house and it was amazing! I had the same reaction every time. , I said remembering my usually room her. But that Karen had to step in. . Wow, she even sounded rude when she talked nicely. . My excitement about being here wore off too soon. Well Vicky sleeps in your old bedroom. But don't worry, the couch is always free!>, she smirked. My face completely dropped. But I knew dad, and he wouldn't let this happen! . I couldn't believe him! . Karen sarcastically pouted at me. . I really wanted her face to meet my fist. But dad was here with us. If he wasn't, then that bitch would be dead. Thank you mom for making me take karate.
I walked upstairs to find an empty bedroom. To my luck, there was only one room; and it was the smallest bedroom too. I threw my suitcase on my bed and pulled out my phone. I had a few texts from mom asking if I was fine. So I replied back telling her we were shopping right now. I know it's bad lying, but it would kill her to find out dad remarried someone. I continued checking my phone and I saw another text, from Eric. My stupid ex. He wanted to get back together with me. But never again is that happening! I wish I had a best friend to talk to about all of this! I used to have a lot of friends, but like I said before, Victoria took them away from me. I hope I never see that damn girl again!
I decided to freshen up so I went to the bathroom in my room and took a quick shower. I let my loose waves out and changed into a casual sky white sleeveless dress, a sleeveless jean vest and flats. I applied some mascara and added a light touch of makeup. Once I was satisfied with myself, I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs, only to be traumatized!
Karen was on my dad and they were making out on the couch! She started to unbuckle his belt until I let out a loud and obvious cough to stop them from continuing. , apologized my dad. His face got very red. , he asked grinning. It's like he could read my mind! , I smiled. Dad pecked Karen on the lips and went to choose which car to take today. Karen just glared at me the entire time. was all she managed to say. Wow I was enjoying this. , I smirked at her. Don't like my smirk Karen? Well I guess the feeling is mutual then!
called my dad. I went outside and relax fully sat in the passenger seat in dad's car and he started to drive; after all, it was only 1:30 p.m. he smiled. Well to be honest, I don't care about cars, but I didn't wanna seem rude. . I said the last part under my breath, hoping he didn't hear me. But, he did. . I might as well be honest. . he winked. I slightly blushed. . I felt my face go hot. Thank god we reached the studio. I barged out of the car and ran inside.
I heard dad calling me but didn't stop. That was pretty dumb of me because I had no idea where I was going. I just ran past the set, which I had to say was pretty amazing! I got some weird looks by other people in here, but that didn't stop me. I saw a bathroom all the way on the other side and ran towards it before my dad found me. But I was looking down while running so nobody could see me crying and bumped into someone. Before I knew it. My body hit the ground. Hard.
