Chapter 11: Eric

LOGAN'S P.O.V:

I'm so glad that Ted and I are good now! It feels great having a male companion to talk to! I was pretty tired so I happily skipped to bed! Woah! Why am I skipping? I'm a guy! Uhh anyways, I walked into my room and fell on my bed. Today was honestly.............amazing! When I'm around Sophie, I feel so different! I did have some girlfriends in the past, but they just used me. Besides, they've never made me feel like this before! Around Sophie, I can just be myself! You know what? I think I do love her! Yea! I do! I love Sophie! I'm gonna text that beautiful angel right now! So I texted Sophie.

'Good night gorgeous! ;)'

And while waiting for a reply, I soon fell into a deep slumber. I dreamt that I barbecued chicken in this big and beautiful backyard. There was a huge porch swing, a lovely garden, a shed and even a playground! Why would I need a playground? Who cares? Who doesn't like swings and slides? I was about to go on the swing, but then I heard a beautiful voice call my name. , she giggled. I was wondering where that voice was coming from until I saw a beautiful woman carrying a little girl. She walked out of a HUGE house; wait my house! She called me dear! Does that mean that we're married and that little angel is ours? WOAH! I saw the woman and she's Sophie! I got zoned out of my thoughts when I heard a little girl call me. , she whined. I came up to the little girl and scooped her in my arms. She was beautiful! She had my blue eyes, Sophie's long brown hair, my smile and teeth, Sophie's eyelashes and chin dimples. She was beautiful! , Sophie asked, wrapping her arms around my waist. , I grinned. Sophie gave me a playful slap and kissed me on the cheek. , screamed my beautiful daughter. Sophie and I laughed. This family is perfect!

I never ever wanted to wake up from this amazing dream! But sadly all good things come to an end, and I woke up! The brights rays of the sun peeked through my curtains. , I smiled. I think I've changed. Ever since I met Sophie, I've been appreciating the little things more! Sophie completely changed me! Speaking of Sophie, I really wanted to see her! I checked my phone to see if she replied to my text; but she didn't! That was a little strange! I assumed that she already read my text. Well maybe she was busy. I was gonna text her again, but I didn't want her thinking that I was too clingy or overprotective. So I'll wait for her to reply before I text her. Hmmm what if she didn't get my text? Maybe it didn't go through. So I guess I'll call her. Not only because she didn't reply. Also because I wanted to know if she could teach me some self defense today. I punched her number in my phone, and waited for her to answer; but she never did! I was scared! What happened to her? What if that dick Eric came and got her? No! That's impossible! I dropped her home yesterday! Phew! Then she's probably fine! Maybe she got her phone confiscated because she came home so late. I sighed a breath of relief. Okay, I feel a lot better now!

I went to the bathroom and took a nice warm shower. I know I'm in LA, but I can take a warm shower in any weather! After my shower, I brushed my teeth and changed my clothes. I changed into a red t-shirt and black shorts. I dried my hair and went downstairs to eat breakfast. Oh yea! Today's Saturday! That means that my mom and Ted are both home! I went downstairs and said good morning to my mom and Ted. , smiled my mom as she gave me eggs and bacon. Gotta love mom! I gave her a kiss on the cheek and started stuffing my face! , asked Ted, winking. , my mom asked. I started blushing. . But I got cut off by Ted. , he smirked. My mom stared at me with wide eyes. , she asked. , screamed Ted. I didn't know what to say! , I screamed defensively. My mom and Ted smiled at each other. , I asked, slightly annoyed. , my mom smiled. My mouth dropped! , I yelled. , my mom smiled, reassuringly. I hope she's right because I've started to develop feelings for her too! But, I'm not planning on asking her out anytime soon!

, I said. , smirked Ted. , I smirked. That shut him up! Hah! He started blushing a cherry red. , I grinned and walked out the door. Hmm why don't I go to my, I mean my and Sophie's park and take pictures? So I went back inside and went to my room to get my camera. I checked my bag; it wasn't in there! I checked in my closet, under my bed and all around my house, but it was nowhere in sight! Where the hell is my camera? Then I remembered. SHIT! I left it at the park yesterday! I ran to the park as fast as my feet could take me! I finally reached the park and ran to the tree that I left it under yesterday. I couldn't find it! My heart literally sank! No! I couldn't have lost my camera! Not the one that dad gave me before he died! I searched the entire park twice! When I was about to search the park again for the third time, I heard someone call me.

Logan?>. I looked up to see who that voice belonged to. It was Karen's and she was holding my camera! , I yelled. , she smirked. , I asked. She grinned and walked up to me. , she said, as she traced her fingers on my chest. , I hollered in disgust. Her eyes flashed with anger and she pushed me to the ground. Wow that bitch is strong! , she smiled evilly.

SOPHIE?!? What did she do to Sophie? No wonder she wasn't answering my calls! , I spat. , she said, looking at me innocently. . WHAT?!? Eric took Sophie! No wonder she was scared to tell me about him! I felt like such a jerk for getting mad at her for not telling me! I stood up and grabbed Karen by the throat! . She started chuckling. , she called. Who was she talking to? Simultaneously, a group of guys, led by the dick himself came! , I spat. And before I knew it, two guys came behind me and grabbed my arms! , I said, kicking. Then Eric punched me in the face and I felt the blood trickling down. Before I knew it, I was on the ground getting kicked by 6 guys! My face, arms, legs and stomach were all bruised and bleeding. I tried to fight back, but I was outnumbered. It was 1:6! How the hell can I win this fight!

After what seemed like hours, they stopped beating me up! I swear I lost more than half of the blood in my body! They kicked my chest so hard, I couldn't breathe properly. I was coughing out blood! Then I heard one of Eric's minions. . They were about to leave me, but I started coughing. I tried to hold it in, but I couldn't! Eric looked at me and smiled. , he smirked. , I screamed, furiously. Damn! I've never been this mad before! But you can't blame me! It's the camera my dad gave me! As long as I have my camera, I feel as if we are still connected! I couldn't let Eric break it! It took me all of my might, and it hurt like hell, but I got up. I was in pain, all bloody and knew that this would be my end. But I punched Eric hard in the nose, and heard a crack! Woah! I've never hit anyone, ever in my entire life! I heard an ear piercing scream coming from Eric, as he covered his nose! He covered his nose with both hands; his free hand, and the hand that he had the camera in! I stood there paralyzed, watching the camera as it hit the ground with a loud thud! I saw camera parts flying everywhere and I couldn't hold back the tears that began to spill! My face hot and my body started to shake. I fell on my knees and kept crying! Words can't describe how I felt! I had lost everything! I thought that they had gone, but Eric's minions came back, knocked me to the ground and kicked me in the stomach! But this pain was nothing compared to the pain of losing my camera and Sophie! Then the minions and a satisfied Eric left. Karen turned back to look at me. , she winked, and then walked off. How could everything go from so perfect to this? There was nothing left that I could do. So I closed my eyes, and then everything went black.
