Chapter 6: Meet Sophie

LOGAN'S P.O.V:

I stood near the dressing room, waiting for everyone to leave, because I dropped my phone in there after hearing footsteps advancing towards the dressing room. First to leave was the doctor. Then Mr. Parker left with a huge grin on his face. I wonder why? The only person left in there was that girl. I was waiting for her to leave, but she took forever! I gave up and started walking towards the dressing room. I saw something shiny on the floor and picked it up. My phone! How did it get here? I guess it'll be an unsolved mystery. I slid my phone in my pocket, but as I turned around, there she was! She tripped over a stool and was falling forward! Man this girl falls a lot! I couldn't let her get hurt twice in one day! I grabbed her before she could fall. My hands fell to her waist and we stayed like that for a while. I had a firm group on her waist and she looked like she thought she was dead or something because she was so lost! She looked cute when she was confused. Then she slowly got up and I loosened my grip. We were face to face!

We just stared into each other's eyes. Her eyes are a brilliant blue! It was a very nice silence. I had a sudden urge to want to kiss her so badly! But I couldn't. We haven't even properly met. We just stood there, but then she nearly tripped again, but I caught her and helped her up. , I whispered. . She stood there quietly, but then began to talk. , she said sticking out her hand. So her name is Sophie! Why was her hand sticking...........Oh no! I can't talk to her! I ran off before she could say anything!

, she called after me. , she cried. I wanted to stop and go to her, I really did. But I couldn't! I am just too shy! People always thought I was a rude person for not talking to others, but it's not true. Believe it or not, but I did talk a lot. I had a lot of friends and life was great! But after my father's death, there wasn't really anything to talk about anymore. And it just got harder for me at school. When I started grade 9, kids would bully me by calling me really hurtful names. I'd get bullied online, so I deleted all of my social media accounts. Then one day after school, it got physical. A group of grade 12 guys would beat me up in the school parking lot everyday! Photography was a two-way ticket out of this world. As much as I wished it was a one-way ticket, I couldn't do that. My mother is being strong for me, so I should be strong for her too. She's done so much for me, so I should return the favor. In fact she has a boyfriend too. They've been dating for 4 months now. She's happy so for sure I'm not going to tell her that her boyfriend, Ted beats me up whenever she's not there. I'd fight back, but I don't know karate, Kung fu or jujitsu. So I just have to cope with it. That's why I wish that I could have a best friend too! We can play Xbox together, I can share all of my problems with him. He and I can chill together! Gosh I really want a friend! I sound like a loser, but it's true.

Shit! I was lost in my thoughts again, because Sophie found me! She's running right up to me! I wanna stay, but I can't! God I gotta get away! I run towards the opposite direction as fast as my feet will take me! I was a pretty fast runner. You learn how to run faster when being chased by grade 12 guys everyday, while they're yelling, . I was doing a pretty good job, but all good things come to an end! I was looking back and bumped into Mr. Parker! He grabbed my shoulders and stopped me! Shit! I'm screwed! . And almost instantly that beautiful Sophie, the Sophie chasing me came! She had a look of anger flashing in her eyes. Oh no! I upset my boss's daughter!
