Chapter 12: Trapped

MY P.O.V:

, he said. I was frightened, scared and terrified! , I pleaded. , ordered a voice that belonged to a woman. , she smiled. Then she stabbed a knife right through Logan's chest! I could hear his loud and agonizing shrieks! It cut a whole through my heart! , I screamed. Then I woke up! I breathed a huge sigh of relief! It was just a dream. I felt my face soaked with tears. Was I crying in my sleep? I only did that when I was really scared! Before I could wipe the tears away, I was greeted with a lot of pain in my head! I rubbed my head with my hands to ease the pain, but I felt something wet dripping from my head. It was too dark to see, but I had a feeling I knew what it was. Wait! Where am I? What happened? I didn't remember what happened earlier. And then it hit me! I remembered it all! I went to the park with Logan and told him all about Eric. I was scared that Eric would come back and kill me so Logan dropped me home. I was watching the sunset and then went inside, but was grabbed by two hands, hidden under black gloves.

Where am I now? I stood up and walked around the room to find a light switch. But darkness had seized the room and I couldn't see anything! I put my hands in my pocket and found my phone! I turned it on and saw the time. It was just after 9 am. I also saw that I had a few texts and a missed call from Logan. He must be worrying right now! I wanted to tell him what happened so he could help me, but then my battery died! Shit! The only useful thing I did with my phone was check the time. Oh yea! It's 9 am! Wait! Then why was it so dark? I got scared. I had no idea where I am! Then the horrid memories of last night came flowing like rushing water! I got pulled by two hands covered in black gloves. There were two people; a woman and someone else. I couldn't identify the second person, who was the same person wearing the gloves, because their face was concealed under a mask. But I did see the woman's face. I was thinking really hard to remember what she looked like. OMG! That woman was....................Karen! I remember! I tried to run away as soon as I saw her face, but then she hit something really hard on the side of my head! That explains the blood!

As I was remembering everything that happened yesterday, the door swung open! In walked a male figure, but I couldn't identify who he was. He had his back turned to me. Then he flicked on the lights and turned around. Holy shit! It was Eric! I was so scared! , I screamed. He started to chuckle. . He shut the door and started walking towards me! Before I could do anything, he grabbed my wrists! , I screamed, knowing that nobody would be able to hear me! He loosened his grip and stroked my hair behind my ear. , he said. Oh. Well he did kinda have a point. But I don't care! He already fucked up my life! , I spat. . He stopped stroking my hair. , he said, and handed me a bagel. Then he walked out of the room and shut the door. He's a freakin asshole! But why was he being so nice to me? He said when I wanted to go home, he'd take me. I know that I shouldn't go, but part of me believed him. I mean, what was I going to do here? I slipped my phone in my pocket, finished my bagel and went downstairs.

, I said. He ran over to me. , he asked. . He looked up at me. , he asked. I looked at him. . Then he told me where the food was and left. 5 minutes after he left, I opened the door and ran away! I thought that an alarm would go off or something, but nothing happened! I continued to run, but I didn't know where I was. I was a little scared. It was a scary looking town and down the street I saw two guys beating the shit out of another guy! They saw me and started walking towards me! I started to panic and dashed back to Eric's house. I figured I was safer in his house than outside. I took a nice, long shower and put on my clothes. I walked downstairs and watched tv and ate. The sun started to set and I was wondering where Eric was. I couldn't find any landlines, but I found Eric's cellphone. Great. His battery's dead too. Then he finally came home! , he asked. I came running towards him. , I said. We got into his car and he started driving. It was really quiet. Not the companionable silences I had with Logan, instead this was an uncomfortable silence. I guess Eric realized too. , he sighed, and put his hand on my knee. , I whispered and he automatically moved his hand. After a while, he stopped driving. He parked his car outside of a club. , I asked. . , I sighed. , was all he said, and then he walked in. After half an hour, I got tired of waiting for him. So I walked in. When I got in, there was loud music blasting everywhere! There were so many drunk people dancing and having fun! I didn't have any alcohol in a long time, so I decided that it wouldn't hurt to drink a little.
