Chapter 21: Test

MY P.O.V:

It's been 2 weeks since Eric got arrested. I felt so relieved now because I wasn't paranoid about him coming back anymore. Oh yea, I got my cast removed! So my leg is no longer broken! I checked my phone and saw that it was noon. I had to go to the hospital. Oh yea umm remember when I got abducted by Eric? Yea well I took a pregnancy test to make sure that I wasn't pregnant with his baby. I was going to get my results today and I was really scared. I only told Victoria. I was too scared to tell Logan because I don't know what he would do if I am pregnant with Eric's baby! I went to my room and changed into a pair of black skinnies, a grey tank top and a black vest on top. I left my hair out and went downstairs to the kitchen. I grabbed an apple, locked the front door, and headed outside. I took one of my dad's cars and drove to the hospital. I would've asked Victoria to come along, but she was at work. After 15 minutes I reached the hospital and parked my car. I ate my apple on the way in and threw it in a garbage can inside. I went to the pharmacy and told the pharmacist my name. , she said. I nodded my head and walked in the waiting room. Why did the doctor want to see me? Did something go wrong? Am I having quintuplets or something? I hope not! I don't wanna have five kids running around the house! And if they're gonna look like Eric then hell no! I don't want any reminders of him! But then they're going to have to visit him! And I don't want any contact with Eric ever again!

, called a nurse and I walked in the doctor's office. The doctor wasn't here yet so the nurse gave me a brown envelope; the test results! , I told the nurse. , she said. I looked at the nurse, she seemed to be in her late 40's. She had straight auburn hair that reached her chin. She had a few wrinkles but still looked really friendly. , said the nurse as she left and then the doctor walked in. She had slightly wavy black hair that came to her shoulders. She seemed to be in her early 30's. She had wrinkle free skin and slight dimples. She was really pretty! , she asked. , I asked nervously. , said the doctor and she left. I sat down in her office and opened up the pregnancy test the nurse had given me earlier. I took a deep breath and opened the test. It's a POSITIVE! My heart sank and it felt as if my breathing stopped. My face went completely pale. , I yelled and the doctor came in and shut the door behind her. She got a bottle of water and handed it to me. I took a long gulp of water. , she sighed. , the doctor said and I felt like crying. , I quietly whispered. , she asked. , I said and told her the story of Eric. , she said and went to go call an intern. A couple minutes later, she came back with a boy who didn't seem to be that much older than me. , she said. Then I gave him the prison's address and he left. I sat in the waiting room and I quietly cried. I couldn't believe this! Of all people in the world, Eric? That means that we're still gonna be connected with one another! After about half an hour the doctor called me in her office. , she said but got cut off by John as he ran in her office. , he panted.

, said the doctor as she shut the door. , I asked worriedly. , she said. I asked confused. , she said. , I said as I remembered that one night when both of us were drunk. I took the test, ran to my car and drove home. The first thing I did was call Logan. , he said. , I said. , he asked. , I said and shut the phone. I was in the living room rehearsing how I was gonna tell Logan. I knew that no matter how much I practiced, I wouldn't be able to say the words. Then I heard the doorbell ring and went to answer it. , asked Logan as he embraced me in a hug. , I said as I led him to the living room and we sat down on the sofa. , asked Logan and I handed him the pregnancy test and he read it. , he asked worriedly. , I said quietly. Logan's eyes flashed with anger, , but I cut him off. , I said and avoided looking in his eyes the entire time I spoke.
