Chapter 30: Absolutely Perfect

MY P.O.V:

It's been 2 years since I came out of the hospital. Logan and I were devastated about the loss of our angel. But when the time is right, we'll try again. Logan and I didn't ask the doctor about the gender of our baby, because it would just make us more sad. We're moving on from that incident, but we still didn't forget about our beautiful baby. We still kept the baby room, but we don't go in it that much; it just brings back upsetting memories. Today is May 17, and it's Logan's birthday! He's turning 20 today! I'm only 19 because my birthday is a few months after his. Logan's at work, so Jen, Ted, my dad, Victoria and Liam came over to my house and we set up for Logan's birthday. We didn't want to have a huge party for him, we wanted to keep it small. About a year ago, I went to visit my mom and told her about everything that happened. She and Gabe are getting pretty serious, and although I don't love him, I'm happy that my mom's happy. Oh yea and more great news for myself, Karen got a movie offer in Atlanta and will be gone for 3 years! Whoop whoop!

, Liam asked. , I said. Liam aww'd so I threw a pillow at his face. Victoria and Jen were in the kitchen cooking, Ted and my dad were barbecuing in the backyard, while Liam and I were putting up decorations. Well I was putting up decorations while Liam blew balloons. After a few hours we were all done. I checked the time and saw that it was 6:30pm! , I screamed and everyone ran to get ready. We've planned this a few weeks ago, so everyone brought their party clothes and whatnot a few days ago. We all went to get ready. The guys looked pretty much the same, but the girls looked amazing! Jen wore a red half sleeved dress that came to her ankles. Victoria wore a peach strapless dress that came to her mid thighs. And I wore a sleeveless dress that came to my knee. It was midnight blue; Logan's favorite color. I straightened my hair and put on a little bit of makeup. Then we all went downstairs and hid somewhere. Logan came home 10 minutes later and we all yelled "Surprise!". Yea it wasn't that original but nobody wanted to do my idea. I was thinking that we should order a massive cake and when Logan saw it we'd jump out of the cake and then yell surprise. But no one wanted to get dirty so they didn't agree. I would've done it!

Logan's expression was priceless; he was so surprised. , I said as I hugged him. , he asked and I grinned. Then Liam and Victoria said happy birthday to him, then his mom and Ted and then my dad. Logan went upstairs to get changed and we all waited excitedly. When Logan came down he looked so amazing! He wore dress pants and a midnight blue dress shirt too. See I know my man! His hair was gelled up and he looked really good. , I said as he walked down. , he winked and I felt myself blushing. I've known him for 2 and a half years yet he was still able to make me blush! , he grinned as he held my waist and pulled me into a kiss. , Jen called from the kitchen and we all sat down at the dining table. Our table is an 8 seater, so 1 chair on the smaller sides and then 3 chairs on the larger sides. I sat on 1 side of Logan and Liam sat on the other. Victoria sat in front of me, Jen sat in front of Logan and Ted sat in front of Liam. My dad sat on one of the two leftover chairs. We all started eating the food; which was excellent. I ate steak, pasta, rice and I don't even remember what else I ate! After dinner we all went to the living room. Jen brought out the cake and I have to say, it looked pretty damn good! , Victoria smiled. , Logan smiled. My dad went to get candles and placed them on the cake. He lit up all 20 candles and then we sang happy birthday. In the part of the song when you sing 'Are you 1? Are you 2?' and so on and so forth, we stopped singing after 12, because we were all tired I singing. , Liam said. , Logan said sarcastically but he still happily blew out his candles. Then we all started eating the cake. , I exclaimed and both girls looked proud with their success.
