Chapter 15: Moving On
MY P.O.V:
15 minutes later Victoria called me. , she asked. Wow! Even though we hated each other our whole childhood, she knew me pretty well! , I quietly said. A little while later she came to the bathroom and was calling my name. I guess this was my cue to get out of the stall, so I walked out. She didn't say anything, instead she hugged me. Then we walked out of the bathroom and made our way to the nearest elevator. , I asked. , she asked. I pointed to the room across from the elevators. And to my luck, it was Logan's room. Yea I meant that sarcastically. , she said. I shook my head and we continued walking. I hate Victoria so much but I love her too! We have a unique relationship! We walked past Logan's room and I ignored Victoria's advice and looked in his room. I knew I shouldn't have, but it was tempting. He was eating an apple and must've heard footsteps, because he looked up. He glared at me and I felt like crying. We've never gotten in a fight before and I hated having him being mad at me. Even though we stopped talking less than an hour ago, I missed him! We went in the elevator and slowly descended. Then we got in Victoria'a car. It was a silent and quiet ride back to the hotel she was staying in. Before we came back, we stopped at a pizza place and bought a box of pizza and a coke and a sprite. I carried the pizza while Victoria carried the drinks and we walked inside. We took the elevator up; Victoria's suite was on the tenth floor. Then she got her keys and unlocked the door. I have to say so myself, her suite is amazing! . , she suggested. , I smiled. That would be so much fun! Just us two girls sharing an apartment! Even though she's my stepsister and ex arch enemy, we've become best friends! I can tell her anything and she's always there for me!
We put the food on a table and she went to go get changed. I went to the bathroom and freshened up. I tied my hair into a ponytail and walked out. I took a slice of pizza and the sprite and started eating. I turned on the tv and was watching The Smurfs. , Victoria laughed. , I said in defense. Victoria laughed and sat down and ate. When we were done eating, Victoria went to the kitchen to make tea. I checked my phone to see if I got any texts. My mom texted me earlier asking how I was doing. I just replied back saying that I was sleeping over at a friend's place tonight. See that wasn't really lying, but it wasn't being completely honest either. That was pretty much the only text I got. There was no text from dad, not that I even wanted him to text me. And there was no text from Logan. Honestly, I wanted him to text me. I want this problem to be all sorted out! I love Logan and I can't stand having him mad at me! I want my cute, shy, caring and loving photographer back!
Victoria came back to the living room with two cups of tea and placed it on the coffee table. Victoria looked at me., she asked. I didn't want to talk about it, but I'd have to tell someone. Besides, who's a better person to talk to than Victoria? I took a deep breath and began to talk. , I said, emotionlessly. , Victoria said. All of the tears I've been holding in came out. , I sobbed. Victoria wrapped her arms around me, but I pushed her off and ran to her spare room. I locked the door and quietly cried. I tried to go to sleep, but I either got nightmares of Eric, or memories of Logan yelling at me playing through my head. I searched through my bag and found sleeping pills I used to take. I popped a few in my mouth and washed it down with water. It was still a long night. If only I was cuddled in Logan's arms right now!
