Aleks' POV*
The TV shut off and everything went silent. I remembered what the lady said.
"Only 2 people in every group," yet there where 6 of us. We aren't good at anything if we aren't together in one big group.

"So w-what are we going to do about that 2 person g-group thing?" I stuttered. I didn't care anymore if I stuttered. I was scared out of my mind.
"I don't know," Jordan answered. I could tell he was scared too. His voice shivered when he talked.
"But now since we aren't going to all be in a group together, we are going to have to pick who goes with who." I thought to myself for a minute.

How are we going to pick? I look over to James to see his eyes watering. He was crying, but why? James never cries in front of everybody. He really never cries in general!
"James?" I said, putting my hand on his left shoulder. He slowly looked up at me and just stared into my eyes.
"Are you ok? Why are you crying?" He suddenly embraced me into a hug, burying his head into my neck. Shocked, I slowly hugged back and tried to pull him away so I could ask him what was wrong again. But he wouldn't let go.

We just stood there in front of everybody hugging. I felt my cheeks warm up. Why does that keep happening? I looked up at Jordan and he just gave me a confused face. Trust me Hordan, I'm just as confused as you are. I shrugged back and that's when James started to whisper something into my ear. His warm breath on my neck gave me shivers.

"Aleks?," he whispered.
"Yeah buddy, what is it?" I wanted him to tell me what was wrong. I was worried about him.
"Why does this have to happen to us? I don't want to do this, knowing that I'm putting my friends in danger. I want everyone to live. Aleks I want you to live," he said, the last sentence he said a little quieter. That gave me more chills.

I back up and put both of my hands on his shoulders. He was looking down at the floor, tears still running down his face.
"I'm not ready to die Aleks," he said, making my heart skip a beat. Why would he even think about that?
"James, I'm not ready to die either. But know this. I will do everything in my power to protect you, no matter what happens. If you need any kind of help, anything at all, just let me know ok?" He looked up and just smiled.

"Thanks Aleks," he said with a little bit of happiness in his voice, and went into the kitchen, ordering the pizza they were talking about earlier. Weird guy. I smiled at my thought and went back to the guys, waiting for me to join so they could go over what just happened.

Some of us stood, and some of us sat on the couch. James had come out of this kitchen and sat by me on the couch.
"What kind of pizza did you get?" I asked, trying to change the subject. He looked at me with those beautiful dark brown eyes and smiled. My stomach fluttered again, but I ignored it.
"Large with extra pepperoni," he said. I nodded and Jordan started to talk.

James' POV*
"Ok guys. We need to figure out this whole group thing," Jordan said, pacing back in forth in front of everyone on the couches. No shit Hordan! Why do you think we are sitting here?! Jordan made me so mad sometimes.
"So, first we need to figure out how we are going to split up into groups," he continued.
"Maybe we should split it by skills? Each one of us is good at something, so if your bad at something, pick someone who is good at that. Everyone got it?"
I was so confused. It was like school instructions. The teacher made something so easy become something so hard, just by giving long instructions.

I shook my head.
"Jordan I'm still confused," I said. He sighed and went over it again. If your bad at something, pick someone who is good at the thing you are bad at. Now I got it.

That's when everyone started picking their teams. I wanted to pick Aleks right off the bat, but I knew Hordans way was better than just picking randomly. He started asking everyone what they are good at.

"Ok, Eddie. Something your good at and something your horrible at," Jordan said. This is a weird way to do all this but I'll go with it.
"Um let me think," Eddie said, scratching his head. This will be awhile. After a good 5 minutes he finally spoke.
"I'm good at shooting a gun since I've taken classes before. I'm really bad at using a sword or any type of melee weapon," he finished. That's when Seamus stepped up.
"I'm really good at melee. I got a few katanas in my room. I'm horrible at shooting, so I guess we would be a good team," Seamus finished. Eddie smiled and they both sat next to each other, talking about their battle strategies.

"Ok I'll go next," Jordan said.
"Im good at shooting a bow, I'm bad at setting explosives or anything that has to do with technology. I'll probably get confused about the whole phone thing," Jordan said, laughing at the last sentence. Dan stepped up.
"Well Jordan, you know damn well I'm good with technology, and I don't know anything about bows. I guess we are a group buddy." Jordan nodded at him and smiled. They went into the kitchen and started talking too. That left me with one other person.
Aleks
I looked over at him to see him already looking at me. His eyes are so pretty. Wait what? I shook the thought from my head.

"So I guess we are a team," I said, quietly.
"Guess so," he replied, smiling. Was he blushing?
"So what are you good at Aleksandr?" His cheeks got redder when I said his name.
"Well if you must know, I'm good at throwing knifes and am good with any type of melee weapons. I can shoot but I don't have very good aim," he said. I smiled.
"I have good aim and can shoot. I'm horrible at melee," I said. He smiled too.

"We're a good team then," Aleks said. I felt myself starting to blush too.
"The perfect team."
