Day 8: M*A*S*H Compound, Helicopter Pad, 1730 Hours
Jess went right past the Swamp and up to the helicopter pad. Hawkeye followed her, watching her as she picked up a rock and hurled it.
"You have a strong arm," Hawkeye commented.
Jess didn't say anything as she picked up another rock and tossed it. Then she said, "I'm trying to get Dalli to talk to me again, but Winchester told me, and I quote, 'Your cousin is too dangerous for you to be around.'"
Hawkeye took a seat on the ground, watching Jess as she tossed a third rock.
She lost her balance and in a second she was dangling over the edge of the helicopter pad, holding on for her life. Hawkeye quickly lunged forwards and grabbed both of her wrists, noticing the look of pain on her face as he grabbed her burned arm. He ignored if for a moment, hauling her back up.
"Ow," Jess cringed, holding her bandaged arm to her chest.
"Sorry, but you were about to fall off the edge. I didn't mean to hurt your arm, but that's better than some broken bones if you were to fall all the way down," Hawkeye apologized.
Jess just nodded and Pierce helped her to her feet as they walked back to the M*A*S*H compound.
