Day 10: Unknown Village in South Korea, 0700 Hours

The next morning, they decided to ask around the town to see if anyone had seen a girl matching Dalli's description.

After about the fourth person they had asked answered to no avail, they were starting to give up hope and move onto the next village. But Jess wasn't ready to give up yet, and she stopped a girl a few years younger than her who was rushing past to get water from the nearby river.

"Excuse me, but did you see a girl come through here yesterday? She's a little taller than me, a year older, with short brown hair and blue eyes? She had a bandage on her head and her arm..." but Jess trailed off with her description of her cousin as the girl nodded excitedly, pointing down a different road that wound through the village.

"Yes, I see girl. Brown hair, bandage, go that way, yester day. After noon," the girl answered in choppy English.

"Really?" Jess asked excitedly.

"Yes, girl go that way, after noon yester day," the young Korean girl insisted, still pointing down the road she had gestured to before.

"Thank you so much," Hawkeye said as he jumped in the jeep and started it up.

"Jess, let's go," B.J. said, holding out his hand to help pull her into the jeep.

Jess took B.J.'s and she let him pull her up into the jeep.

"Jess, I've been meaning to ask you about your arm," Hawkeye started as he headed down the road the girl had pointed to, "How's it feeling?"

"Okay, I guess. It just hurts every once and a while, but not as bad it used to," Jess said.

"I'll look at it when we get back to the compound," Hawkeye told Jess.

"Okay, but we're not going back until we find Dalli," Jess answered determinedly.

"Trust me, we'll find her," B.J. insisted as they drove slowly along the road, looking for any signs of Jess's injured cousin, Hawkeye's niece, and B.J.'s patient.

Up ahead they saw a figure running along the side of the road, and for a moment hope spiked in all of their chest's until they realized the girl wasn't Dalli, and they kept driving along, hope dwindling with each stretch of road they went along.
