Your Child is Sick.

When your fave's being problematic (see gif).

Calum: Calum rubbed his daughter's back as she sat on his lap, puking up the small amount of food she ate for dinner. "Do you want me to try and find it love?" He called out to you, gathering her hair up and tucking it into the back of her shirt so it wouldn't get in her way. "It's ok, I've got it." You called out to him from the bathroom, pulling the bottle of medicine from the bag and hurrying over to your whimpering baby girl. Calum wiped her mouth with an old towel set beside him, holding her firmly on his lap as you fed her the medicine to stop her sickness. She continued to cry afterwards, clearly distressed over her own state as she reached for you to pick her up. Calum took the medicine off your hands as you took your daughter, soothingly rocking her back forth in your arms and you hushed her softly. "Let's get her to bed. The medicine should kick in soon and sleep should be good for her, too." You agreed with him, following after as he led you to her room, helping you to tuck her in under the covers and switching her night light on before you left. "Ugh, I'm exhausted." You muttered as you closed the door. "Me too, baby." He whispered, his hand falling around your waist as you both headed over to your room, quickly falling asleep besdide one another.

Ashton: "How is she doing?" Ashton asked as he walked into the room, having just returned from buying some medicine for your 1-year-old who currently had the flu. "I've been trying to get her to drink something to keep her fluids up, but she refuses her bottle every time." You replied, seeing a frown etch onto his forehead as he listened to you. You picked up your sleepy daughter and held her upright in your arms as Ashton tried to give her a spoonful of medicine. "Come on baby, you need to take this." Ashton cooed to her, squeezing her hand gently for reassurance. She began to cry once again like she had been for the past hour and you turned her around, hugging her tightly to try and calm her down. Ashton rubbed his hand up and down her small back, the both of you talking in a baby voice to settle her. When she had finally stopped crying, you turned her around again, holding her tightly so she couldn't move around too much. She finally swallowed the medicine, softly crying again afterwards, nuzzling her head into the crook of your neck. You swayed her back and forth whispering calming words to her until she eventually began to exhaust herself to sleep. You passed her over to Ashton and rearranged the blankets in her cot, ready for him to set her down in her bed for some much-deserved rest.

Luke: "Luke, I'm really scared." You muttered as he came into the room standing behind you as your rocked your crying newborn in you arms. "Hey, it's ok. It's normal for him to cry, he's only a few days old." Luke reminded you as he tucked your hair back behind your ears. You breathed deeply, trying to calm yourself as you looked down at your son, softly stroking his cheek to try and soothe him, but to no avail. Luke could see how worried you were getting so he quickly began rubbing circles on your lower back, holding you close to him whilst you continue to sway your baby in your arms. "I think he's sick." You told him as a few little coughs shook his tiny body, causing Luke to scan his eyes over him. "I don't know what to do." You mumbled out stressfully, keeping your voice low as you turned around and passed your son into Luke's arms. "I'm going to see what medicine we have that he can take." You spoke, quickly leaving the room. You returned several minutes later, phone in hand but no medicine, a curious Luke looking over at you as you made your way to him. "I couldn't find anything so I rang Liz and she said the best thing to do is stand in the bathroom with the hot water running so the steam helps him to breathe." He smiled at you tiredly, following your lead as you walked into the bathroom, turning the hot water on for this shower. He sat down on the edge of the bathtub, gesturing for you to come and sit down beside him, resting your head on his shoulder as you both stared down at your little baby boy who was finally beginning to quieten down. "We're doing ok, you know that?" Luke whispered to you, smiling as your baby's eyes began to close. "I know. I just don't want anything bad to ever happen to him." You whispered back, keeping your voice low as he finally fell asleep.

Michael: I swung my legs over the bed, stretching my arms ahead of me before standing up. Michael had gone to check on our son 10 minutes ago, and he was still in his room trying to get him to calm down. I leaned against the doorway, watching quietly for a few moments before I wandered over to Michael, wrapping my arms around him from behind. "Go back to bed, sweetie. I can look after him." Michael told me, turning around to give me a side hug, kissing the top of my head as he did so. "It's fine. I can't sleep without you, anyways." You told him, moving in front of him to take hold of your 8-month-old's hand. "What's wrong with him? Do you think he's just teething?" He paused to look down at his son cradled in his arms, shaking his head before speaking. "I think he might have a fever. He feels pretty warm." He told you causing you to place the back of your hand to his burning forehead. You frowned at the whimpering baby, opening your arms as Michael carefully passed him to you, heading downstairs to retrieve some medicine. You cooed softly at the little one in your arms, stroking your hand over his fair hair before placing a kiss to the top of his nose. Michael returned shortly after, opening the bottle of medicine and feeding it to your son whilst you held him still as he tried to refuse. After finally getting him to swallow his medicine, you set him down in his cot, Michael adjusting the toys - handing his little monkey to the dozy child as you both tucked him in, each placing soft kisses to his forehead. Michael led you both back to your room, falling onto the mattress and pulling you down beside him to get some sleep while you still could.
